Since a lot of people here have created worlds of their own-- for characters, creatures or other reasons, I thought this could be useful.
So, use this thread to post any information about your created worlds that you would like to share with others :)
It might also be good if a host stickied this like the creature encyclopedia ;)

Interesting.. I'll participate..
Meridian
Meridian is my personal realm in cyberspace; it exists purely in my imagination and it is the home of my online persona...Lady Cinnamin. Magic and science function side by side...law and chaos have their places...good and evil each have their adherants...war and peace could break out at any time.
Fantasy is Queen and Science Fiction is her consort; together they form a world of adventure, imagination and fun. Meridian is home to many races, creatures and beings...it is an interdimensional crossroads for warriors, bards, traders and thieves. One can never know what they will find down the next road, around the next corner or in the next tavern...surprise, wonder and excitement are common states when one travels in Meridian.

The Zhiar Multiverse.
Created by incorporeal beings known as the riuni'ieli(or the First Ones), Zhiar is the original Multiverse. Most other multiverses are simply alternate vertions of it, although Multiverses so different that they aren`t considered alternate have been found. Creation is held together by an entity that is known through its seven aspects. These aspects are also the source of magic, and protects anything against the void that can be found outside. There's also a bunch of gods(Nhar'Aeiven), 42 that were born with Zhiar. In addition to those, there are also hundreds of younger gods, the formerly mortal children of a god and a mortal. Unlike other multiverses, Zhiar contains only 12 universes, all of my worlds can be found within these.
Next I'll post descriptions of my main worlds within this.
1) AENTERAI.
The home of the true gods. The Aenterai universe is the only one that doesn`t exist than any other multiverse than Zhiar.
2) TIATRA.
This is the universe where the Earth can be found. However, this is not the Earth that we know, here humans chose the way of magic instead of technology.
3) DJEGU.
In this universe, time pass far slower than in any other universe. A millenia in Djegu is the equialent of 2 standard years(51 months) in any other universe.
4) GAANDE.
Fairly similar to our own universe, Gaande is mostly under the control of those loyal to the dark nhar'aeiven.
5) ANOO.
In this universe, the creation of galaxies, suns and planets have not yet occured. It seems like the First Ones have plans for it, but as they deny anyone entrance to it, this is still a source of speculation.
6) BERAETA.
This is the universes of the black holes, here millions of super massive black holes have been brought into existence. Dozens of races use these monsters as a source of energy, and there are few who can compete with the races of Beraeta when it come to high-level technology.
7) MAHAGA.
Being the youngest of the zhiaran universes, there are only a few sapient races in Mahaga that have reached a high level in technological or magical knowledge. As the races of Mahaga is considered rather primitive, few visitors even reveal what they truly are or where they come from.
8) SRETANE.
Sretane have spawned a surprising number of different god-like races, at least they are considered gods by the mortal races of Sretane. Another unusual thing about Sretane is that it consists of hundreds of sectors, all sealed off from each other to keep the godling races from realizing that they are not the only 'gods'.
9) BLAEL.
Blael is probably the most unusual of the zhiaran universes; being the home of sapient suns, planets and even galaxies. Any non hydrogen-based lifeform entering this universe needs heavy magical protections simply to survive and comunicate with the natives.
10) SJIRRA.
This universe are the home of the third oldest species of dragon; the sjirran dragon. Sjirra is unique due to its relatively small size and the fact that the only 'planet' is a immense, roughly oval landmass. Sjirra also have two suns, and there are several habitable moons.
11) MJELGA.
Not much is known about Mjelga as it is the home of the tca`ier, the sha`mrn, the sha`yienn and the shapeshifters, none of which permitt many visitors to enter their universe.
12) GRUND.
Grund is the universe of the elementals and other etheral beings that aren`t directly conected with the world of gods or daemons. These beings may travel anywhere; either because they wish to or when they are summoned.

Sjirra.
Although only one of many universes, the Sjirra universe is also one of the most unusual. Small compared to other universes, it was created by a group of eight gods, making Sjirra a bit younger than the other universes of the Zhiar multiverse. There are very few suns and planets in Sjirra, as the gods instead chose to create a immense and vaguely oval 'land' for life to dwell on. At the rim of this 'land' there are a chain of mountains known as the Outer Mountains, and while considered a quite inhospitable place, it is this chain of mountain that keeps the oceans in place. In the center of the ocean of this land, lays a continent about three times as large as all the landmasses of Earth put together, this supercontinent bears the same name as its universe. There are also many islands along the coasts of the continent, and about 100kilometers to the south-west lays a smaller continent(about the size of Africa) called Mihiral.
While it is hard to determine the exact number of sapients living at Sjirra, due to that many choose to live in one of the supercontinent`s many area of wilderness, it is believed that there may be as many as 16-17 billions at any time.
There are two suns orbiting Sjirra; a G-type star-- Saril and Tekanti, which is a white dwarf. The orbit of Saril takes it from west to east, while Tekanti`s orbit is oriented south-east to north-west; a night and a day is 27 hours long. Sjirra has four moons; Kima(the largest and slightly blue in color), Liren(with a huge crater in its centre), Ooniar(the third largest) and Yaner(barrely large enough to be called a moon and almost never visible except for in the south). At night, there are only about a dozen stars visible, these forming the constellation known as the Eye. There are also a few more stars that are not visible from the supercontinent at any time, and in all, there are only a couple of planets orbiting those stars that have the right conditions for life, if the sjirran moons aren`t counted.
The Moons of Sjirra
Kima.
The largest moon in the sjirran sky-- only slightly smaller than Earth, is the moon called Kima. A cold-blue-white of color, Kima has a featureless surface when viewed with the naked eye, this due to that it is mostly covered by water and have only a few island-sized landmasses. Originally this moon was not habitable due to its frequent wild storms and heavy atmosphere-- this spawning immense storms that could last for years. However, about a thousand years ago, the moon was terraformed by the sjirrans who also founded the first cities. Today, Kima is a place where most of the high-tech industry in Sjirra can be found-- although it is mostly known for the spaceships and defence-systems manifactured there. Most of the factories at the moon is found underground or underwater, in all there are ten cities on the moon-- mainly at the southern hemi-sphere where the climate is most stable. Each of this cities has a population of roughly 10,000 people of all races, and there are also a few thousand more living at the moon in smaller settlements(villages and farms).
Kima has only a few native species, mostly 'fish' and 'worms' living at the bottom of its oceans, but the sjirrans have also introduced a few foreign animals; like beasts, canines, several species of birds and insects, and not to forget several types of plants and trees.
Liren.
2/3 the size of Kima, Liren is one of the most noticable moons of Sjirra-- having a huge crater that stretches out over half of the moons surface when it points towards Sjirra, and it is a feature that is clearly visible even from such a distance. Mostly mountains and huge savannas stretching out across its land, Liren's oceans are small and the moon have only a few lake-sized bodies of freshwater. However, rivers and streams are abundant, at least during the summer-- often freezing solid during the winter months. Liren is home of a wide variety of animals, but few of those can be considered sapient-- with the particulary noticeable exception of the night cat or Amra Aini, although these have no true language and are unable to communicate mentally.
There are few settlements at Liren due to that sjirran law does not permitt extensive settlement at planets with a pre-existing echo-system, and no foreign animals have been introduced-- all food and other resources at Liren are imported. In all, there are about 30 village-sized settlements at the planet, mostly in the mountains where the impact on the echo-system will be less. However, several types of plants, insects and animals have been exported by the medicine industry or when flora and fauna for a newly terraformed planet is being constructed.
Ooniar.
The third largest moon, Ooniar has a atmosphere consisting mostly of carbondioxid, making it impossible for air-breathing lifeforms to live there without protection. However, despite the wildly varying temeperature at the moon, the ocean at its western hemisphere do harbour some types of life-- a huge and eel-like predator called
hler and a hydrogen-based lifeform living in huge colonies at the bottom of the oceans, known as the tel-kherr.
While there are few settlements at Ooniar, and the planet have few natural resources of industrial interest, there are three dome-cities at the southern coast of the moon's single ocean. Founded about a hundred years ago by several religious groups from an alternate Earth, the cities are home to around 300,000 humans and some humanoids and non-humans. While mainly self-sufficent and priding themselves in that fact, the people of Ooniar still needs to import more complex technology and medical equipment to keep their communities going. The ooniarans also export originial art, writings and music, most of it somehow connected to their religions, but there are some completely original works. Although women usually have more freedom in the upper classes, the ooniaran society is a strictly pathriarcal one-- women are rarely allowed much freedom in determining the course of their own lives.
Yaner.
A small sphere of frozen ice and rock, Yaner is barrely large enough to be honored with the term 'moon'. Unlike the other moons, it doesn't orbit around Sjirra-- instead it hovers in space about 20-40 miles away from the rim. Visible only from the southernmost parts of Tsjerria, the moon has a odd, purplish tinge to it and times it can be hard to see in the glare of the suns. Due to its small size, there are no settlements at Yaner-- although magic-users sometimes come there to study the strange fluctuations of energy that sometimes occur at the moon's surface. However, several monitoring stations have been built at Yaner-- mainly to study space and scrying for potential hostiles, but also to monitor the moon itself and prevent that it crashes into Sjirra.

I also have 3 other worlds, but they aren't as detailed yet as Meridian and I don't have anything posted about them.
Zanar'renth
An old planet with a high gemstone content. The dominant species is the Renthian Dragons. There are many shapechangers, and several races of humanoid animals. Climate and terrain vary from tropical to arctic, desert to mountainous and everything in between. Humans are very much in the minority and are under the protection of the Renthian Dragons.
Draconis 3
One of the rare planets that support both magic and technology. The government is composed of merchants, magi and scientists. They are devoted to natural conservation and control the spread of technology to ensure that the planet remains beautiful. It is also the home of the Travelers Guild and the Free Worlds Consortium.
Drax
An ancient area of space at the far edge of the multi-verse. The Draxian race died out several millenia ago, but they left their artifacts behind for us to discover and marvel over. The Draxian's were masters of genetic and biological manipulation, experts at designing new species and building environments. The area is littered with thousands of specially designed and artificially maintained environment bubbles; each containing new species of animals and intelligent beings.

Kyolis: Once thought to jsut be a chain of islands serving as a haven for magical creatures on Earth, Kyolis is acctually a whole planet discovered by the dragons. The dragons tricked the other races so that they believe they combined magic to hide a chain of islands in the sky. The dragons who lead the spells, however, used the combined magic of all the races involved to create a gate to an entirely new world. Only the Dragon High Council and the Unicorns (because they know everything) know the truth.
Panthran: An alternate Earth where felines became dominant. Panthran is a world with one supercontinent and an ocean dotted with islands. There are two large islands/ small continents at each of the poles.
Seeral: A world of elemental balances. Home of the humanoid Seerans(water/earth) and Ralsens(earth/air) and two races of dragons thought to have disappeared millennia ago.
Filndablanq: home of the Dragons of Elemental Chaos, Serenity Lizards and Seaspray Dragons.
an as yet unnamed world home to Mitanya and several Ea dragons
another unnamed world homeworld of Antharon and Norantha

Hmmm...
Dark Planet
Dark Planet is home to many magical creatures. These include the Windigo (http://critterhaven.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=391), Eggs of Unknown Origin (http://critterhaven.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=390), Grants (http://critterhaven.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=389), and Gabriel Ratchets (http://critterhaven.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=388). So far, these are the only creatures described on the planet, though many have been found.
Dark Planet is covered mainly in a dark forest where the Grants and Ratchets live. There are several wide, deep rivers where water fey live. Aside from those places, are some surprisingly beautiful fields of flowers that grow large enough for most humans to use the petals as fragrant blankets. Though the Windigo are not compatible with humans, they have no problem bonding to other species, which thrive on Dark Planet.
On the two main continents, the dark forests cover most of the land. There is a large swath of plains where the larger flowers grow. These are home to the Bansidhe (http://critterhaven.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?p=1727#1727) and other humanoid creatures. Most of the darker creatures of the planet won't venture into the plains and meadows. They are not creatures of light.
The rivers hold a surprising level of life in them, though most of it is not fish-life. Some of it is fish-like, but there is a difference. None of the creatures of the rivers and larger seas has been described in any detail.
There is one mountain range on each continent. The Feardorcha Range is the larger of the two ranges. They have a multitude of cave systems, and their own set of unusual creatures. These include the Olympians (http://critterhaven.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=386),
Crystal Bats (http://critterhaven.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=382), and Bat Flits (http://critterhaven.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=381). As the Olympians don't prefer the dark, but need protection for their colonies, they tend to make nests and homes in the smaller caves and stay near the mouth, taking cover in the deeper ground during bad weather.
In the lighter forests of the moutain ranges there are several other creatures. The Squonkey (http://critterhaven.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=387), Lyger (http://critterhaven.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=385), Fury Flits (http://critterhaven.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=384), and Crystal Fox (http://critterhaven.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=383) make their homes in these lighter forests. They are not averse to the light and nicer magicks.
I also have:
Whirldon
Wirldon is a large water planet. There is precious little landmass on it. It is home to many water loving critters, but hasn't been explored much. The small landmasses are home to small draconics and othe avians that live in the tall trees and prey on fish.
Nordheim
Nordheim is a surprisingly small planet that has several moons and moon installations. The planet is home to many breeders and researchers. Most of the creatures that Bane discovers are brought here or to one of the moons for breeding and studying. Most of the planet is blocked off for agriculture, and the rest is fenced for the creatures.
Moons
Runge is a small moon with very little atmosphere. It is the closest to Nordheim and has some of the most modern breeding installations. The installations make the moon look as though it has sprng several blisters on it's surface. The domes provide an artificial environment for some of the rarer creatures that Bane finds.
York is the largest of the moons, and is more a small planet than a moon. It has a stable atmosphere that is conducive to carbon based life. This moon is used for the breeding of some of the draconics that Bane finds.
Biel is the farthest moon from Nordheim. It is used to breed the cold loving creatures. It's surface is an icy wasteland. For warmth, the researchers and breeders live in bubbles that resemle igloos.
Jova is the smallest of Nordheim's moons. It has several active volcanoes and is used to breed the fire loving creatures. For protection, the breeders tend to stay off the moon in a small space station that is geosynchronized with one of the more active volcanoes. They usually only go to the surface when there is a clutch to be had.
Bane Triverse
Earth, you know.
The Land of Shadows is where Bane's people are from. They are an advanced race of magic users and explorers. There are two different peoples in this verse, those of light and those of shadow. It's more two bloodlines than two separate peoples. Those of mixed blood, however, are few and far between. There are only three mixed Shadow People, and they are the only ones that can access the ports to Earth.
Those who are of the light have white skin with a light, almost not visible blue tint. Their hair is often light blues or greens. Their eyes are a light green. They don't have any specific magic based on the light or good side, they are called the People of Light because of their coloring. It's an old phrase and people, so they call themselves what they wish.
Those who are of the Shadows have dark, nearly black blue skin. Their hair ranges from truly black to a blue soe dark it might as well be black. Ocassionally, one of the Shadows has green hair, it's not an uncommon sight. The pure Shadow is almost totally comprised of black and grey and green, all dark and complimenting to each other. Their eyes are a dark greenish blue.
The crossbreeds, those of both light and shadow, have a royal blue tinted skin. Their hair is often a lighter blue than that of the shadows, but never the light hues of those of the light. They have amber yellow eyes that stand out against their skin color. They alone have the magic required to access the portals to the human world. Long ago, they were charged with protecting the humans. No one knows any more why the mixed ones are the only ones allowed access to the portals. The portals will not allow one of the light or one of the shadow to cross them.
Portals-
The portals are just that - magical entrances or exits leading between the Shadow world and the human world. They are ancient magics long forgotten. As there are now only three Shadows of mixed heritage left, the portals are seldom used.
Heirarchy-
The Shadow world is ruled by a high king and a high queen. They share duties and power, so it is not a monarchy. The throne is gained through inheritance, and since the Shadows are a long lived people, it very seldom changes rulers. At this time, the king and queen are old. They have one granddaughter who is of mixed heritage. They are currently grooming her to be the next queen, though she must choose a king before she has been on the throne more than three years. She is true queen to the Shadows, so she must have a true king in order to fight the Listeners who are planning a war between the two races.
Queen Memnoda and King Hurn have ruled for a thousand years. They have battled the Listeners countless times, and want their granddaughter to have a secure throne. They have prepared a ball for her return in which there will be several princes of the lesser lands for her to meet. It's a bit like Cinderella, but the roles are reversed. It is the ancient tradition to throw a ball for the heir(ess) to meet possible husbands.
The Listener's Realm is a place of nightmare. The Listeners are demonic like creatures that have waged war on the Shadows for eons. The one creature from their realm that was not harmful is the Luna Stud. They are now stabled and bred in the Shadow World.
Kimmbewena
The equator of the planet is covered in small to medium sized volcanic islands. This area is highly active, and very conducive to fire-type animals. The Firewing Pegasus and Nova Dragons are comfortably at home here along with the Fireflares, Flare Cats, and Blackflame Wolves.
North of the equator, there are several large continents. Dragons and other beasts have taken these over. The continent closest to the equator, Jara, has a tropical climate and thick rainforests covering the vast majority of it.
Jara
The forest of Jara covers the continent nearly from coast to coast. There are three major rivers on the continent, all originating from cool springs. They terminate in estuaries at the coast. All around the continent are beaches that have jewel toned sands. Black Beach is where a lot of the Blackflame Wolf cubs are to be found. Natives in the area often have the litters on the beach and sell a chance to bond to travellers and tourists. There is also Ruby, Emerald, and Diamond beach. The waters around the continent are orange in color, due mostly to some element of the volcanoes that has turned the water to a bright orange.
The flora in the forests is conducive to small life forms living in the blooms and stalks. There are orchid-like flowers that grow in vines through the trees. The blossoms of these colossal flowers can reach close to two feet across the widest parts. There are other flowers just as beautiful, but much bigger.
Most of the insects on Jara resemble Terran bugs. They are magical in their own rights, but haven't been studied much beyond their coloring.
Butterflies:
There are several colors and shapes of butterflies. They vary in size.
The smallest are light violet. There bodies are vivid red. The upper pari of wings have four small pink spots along the edge, and the lower pair has one single small pink spot near the tip. Their antennae are metallic silver.
The next smallest are bright red wit geomatric shapes on their wings. Their bodies and antennae are silver. On the upper pair of wings, there are three black rectangles. The top rectangle has three smaller yellow rectangles in it. The middle black rectangle has two smaller yellow rectangles in it, and the bottom has one smaller yellow rectangle within it. The bottom edge of the lower pair of wings have a row of black rectangles with single smaller yellow rectangles in them.
The third smallest are green and have thin wings. The bottom third of each pair of wings is black, and the lower pair have small black dots just above the band of black. The bodies are mainly silver, as are the antennae, but the lower third of the bodies are gold.
The third largest are pink with an edging of red on the upper pair of wings. There are three light purple dots from the tip to about the bottom of the top quarter of the wing. The head is a deeper pink than the wings, and the body is a deep purple with a silver sheen. The antennae are silver with silver orbs on the end.
The second largest are a light purple-ish blue. The upper edge of the lower pair of wings is black. Their heads are a deeper shade than the wings, and the bodies are a light pink. The antennae are silver and curl at the end.
The largest are a brilliant blue swallowtail. They have a flowing black area around the outer edge of both pairs of wings. Their is a spot of darker blue on the inside of the uppwer pair that starts at the body and extends a short way onto the wing. On the tips of the upper lobes, their are two silvery white spots. Their bodies are crystalline silver with graceful silver antennae.
There are several other insect types on Jara, but the butterflies are the only ones to have been studied at all at the time.
Races
Falcones
The Falcones are one of the people of Kimmbewena. They are a tall race, the men being upwards of 6.5 feet tall, and the women no shorter than 5.5 feet tall. The Falcones are a fine boned people, with high cheekbones and thin frames. They have long fingered hands, which help with the spellcasting. They have pointed ears, and often wear their hair long. Their eyes are large, and oddly or multi-colored.
The Falcones can go either way with their magic, or they can remain neutral.
Bonekeepers are men unto themselves. They are the few Falcones who have gone up against a higher demon or minor devil and survived. On surviving, they receive a gift of magic from the demon or devil that controls what they fought. This magic has to do with death and blood, and can take any form. If it is sorcery, it is powerful, as well as if it is enchantment. If it is healing, the healer becomes able to heal demon-got wounds.
Cloud-touched are just as rare as Bonekeepers, but they are born. The cloud-touched are said to be blessed by the good gods. They have tremendous power, and are often the ones that can kill the demons and devils. Their powers have to do with life and growth. Because they are cloud-touched, they cannot become Bonekeepers, and have nothing to do with evil side of things unless they are sent to kill the evil ones.
Stargazers are the most rare of the three rarest magics. They are the prophets of Falcone kind. They can prophesy in any number of ways, either by card, vision, dream, or any number of ways. On rare ocassions, a stargazer can use a scrying pool, and has some power over most liquids.
Falcones have various kinds of magic. They have sorcery, herb-magic, enchantment, and healing. They are telepathic, and have telekinetic abilities. Their magic doesn't manifest until after the 5th year.
Once the magic manifests, they are sent to different academies to learn to master their talents. It is rare for a Falcone to reach the rank of master (normally when they are in their early 20s) and gain another magic. Most of the magics will manifest themselves before the 15th year. Extenuating circumstances may bring out other abilities that would otherwise have remained dormant, but this is rare.
The Falcones are ruled by a monarchy, either with a high king or a high queen. If there is a Queen, then there is no king, but there may be a consort. Kings are born into the rank. If there is a king, his wife is queen. Under the king or queen are their children. The heir-apparent, and the prince and/or princess. The heir-apparent is often the oldest child, but not always.
Under the high royalty are the nobles. This includes the lords and their ladies, the barons and their wives, the dukes (who are the king or queens siblings, not prince or princess) and the duchesses (again, the king or queens siblings).
Then, there are the peasants. It was once believed that the peasants were just commonfolk, not blessed by the gods to have magic. Then, some masters starting bringing peasant children to the schools. Two have graduated as full masters of sorcery and enchantment. This has been a cause of great debate among the nobility, as they still believe that those so common peasants are no more than slaves.
The political system is easy. One is either with the monarch, or one finds a new place to live.
It is a tradition for the unwed Falcone women to wear a soft leather mask over their faces. The mask covers half the face, starting halfway down the nose and covering the entire top of the head. The ends of the mask trail down to the middle of the back, which is as long as the unwed woman is allowed to wear her hair. The mask is enchanted to allow the woman to see normally.
Other traditions pertain to the length of a woman's hair. The unwed noblewoman is allowed to wear her hair to halfway down her back, between the collarbones. Married noblewomen can wear their hair to their waists. Only the queen's hair can grow past her waist.
Laws change at the whim of the royalty.
Mother Jineos is the all-mother for the Falcones. She created everything. She is the goddess of sorcery and love.
Min is the Mother Jineos' Consort. He helped her create some things, and sired several children on her. He is the god of pain and blood and enchantment.
Veli is the daughter of Jineos and Min. She is the goddess of all things good, and of war and healing.
Wons is the son of Jineos and Min. He is one of the dark gods and is god of chaos and death. He is one of the rulers of the underworld, and the patron god of the Bonekeepers.
Liwn is the daughter of Veli and Wons. She is the goddess of lust and gore. She is the patron god of the cloud-touched.
Arwyn is the daughter of Min and Liwn. She is the patron goddess of the stargazers, and also the goddess of prophecy.
Nom'ed
Nom'ed is more a kingdom than a world, but I haven't come up with a name for the planet, or for many of the other kingdoms yet.
Chaos Demonkeeper is the main character in my story based in Nom'ed. You can read this in the Writer's Forum. It's titled Demonkeeper.
This world has three main races, the humans, the elves, and the demons.
The humans have very little magic, and is more often performed with the help of much ritual and spells and such.
Elves are more intrinsically magical. They can have many different types of magic, all of which will manifest before they reach the minority age of 8. The custom of a minority age gives the person more responisibilities and holds them to those responsibilities. These normally say that this person as been found competent in the use of their magic and is free to find a mentor/teacher that has similar powers. These powers have a wide range of possibilities and strengths.
Demons, too, are intrinsically magical creatures. However, they live in the Demonic Lands. Their status system is based on seven circles. The First Circle is the farthest out from the center and where the weaker or smaller demons reside. This is the circle of least respect and status. It is closely allied with the Second Circle. The Second Circle demons are only slightly more powerful than those of the First Circle.
The Third Circle starts the more powerful demons. Any demonic royalty will be here until they gain power and experience. They will then advance through the Fourth and Fifth Circles. Once they reach the Sixth Circle, they are often powerful enough to take the throne, and are just waiting for the current ruler to die.
Demonic kings are born. It is not a position that is fought for. The king will choose a female to birth his heir. He will normally choose the female for being powerful and intelligent. She will perform the spell to allow her to conceive a male child. The king will then have the boy raised how he wants. There are very rarely multiple heirs. The king is one of the most poerful male demons, and few challenge his authority.
The Black Castle is situated in the center of the Seventh Ring. It is comprised of a magical black stone only found in the Seventh Circle of the demon lands. The stone seems to reflect and absorb light at the same time. One may look upon it and see only a black nothingness where the castle is, and look again and see the castle in great detail. It is purely magic in it's construction, and the rooms change at the will of the ruling king. His rooms are always in the center of the castle, with the rest of the castle around it. While this is the most secure place for the king to have his privacy, he is never there during battle. The demons have a rule that the king is always on the front lines with the best of his soldiers and magicians.
Devils live among the demons peacefully. It is a symbiotic relationship. The devils rarely live outside the Third Circle. They are extrmely powerful, but rare. Devils are born to demons.
The powers of the demons range widely. At any given time, there are hundreds of thousands of ifferent demons in the lands. They are tied to the orchids, which are the only other plants aside from lillies that grow in the demon lands. The demon that answers to the call of a certain orchid often resembles that orchid in at least color. A white orchid will often call an ice demon of some sort, for example.
Demonic women are not treated well. They are basically breeding stock. Though they are appreciated for their intelligence in the instance of conceiving a child, the male demons can do whatever they wich to them. If it is a female demon, rape is not an option. They have to obey the every wish of the male demon. The female devils, on the other hand, very rarely if ever listen to the male demons. Most of the devils, even the lesser ones, are more powerful than the demons, they just have no stake on the throne.
There are many other creatures in and around Nom'ed. Not all of them are mentioned here, just the main ones. Elves, demons, and devils are the most powerful of the magical creatures, though there are others. Humans, on the other hand, have little to no magic among them.
July 29, 2007---
I swear I did not forget this. But... more can be found on Nom'ed here (http://alloffaerie.3.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=158) and here (http://alloffaerie.3.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=66). That's the most updated of anything on that environment. The planet is named Gaiea, and there are several more kingdoms there. There's a story in the making for it that I am cowriting with a friend. It's in the very early stages of draft... so this world is pretty much closed for play. Sorry. Not that there's anything running in the world anyway...
February 26, 2008---
Uhm... I've come up with a new world and figured it might as well be updated into this. I know I haven't been very active here lately, but that may well change. I don't know...
Anyway, the new world is called Vector Point, and due to the content of the world being based largely in the world of BDSM, I can't really put a lot of detail here. I don't think. Most of what I have written on it is notes and stuff dealing with the infrastructure of the culture, so I could probably post that here, but for the sake of not breaking the rules in the slightest, I have posted the name of the planet and it's main function... Meh... what an add-on to my post, huh?

No chance of this getting stickied?
Also, would anyone be willing to let me use their world for a little invasion in the RP that I'm running?
You won't have to participate in the RP, and any restrictions you set will be followed. Even better if you would like to help with plotting and the like.

What type of use, did you have in mind?
Draconis 3, Drax and Zanar'Renth aren't fully fleshed out.. some of my critter creations come from these worlds and I've named some landmasses, but that's about it.
Meridian is my only world that is mostly written up.. land, races, government, creatures, flora, etc.
I need more detail, before I could agree.

Basically the invasion would be of a force primarily looking for resources and useful knowledge and technology. There would also be a contigent of seykaltheth coming along, to aquire the magic of the world for use and study.
I imagine that fighting will be involved, though I plan for the RP to focus on the characters involved. Neither am I planning on having a guaranteed win for the invaders, a more balanced conflict where both sides had trouble is more fun after all.

hmmm.. Zanar'renth would probably be the only one of mine that might fit. Draconis 3 is more technological than magical (tho both work).. Drax is just a bunch of relics left behind by a super-advanced dead race.. and I wouldn't want an invasion on Meridian.
Renthian Rocs and Hoots are also from Zanar'renth, and are full sentient races. Both races have loose alliances with the Renthian Dragons.. they were both enemies at various times in their history; to each other and the Dragons. The Dragons always won tho, and they rule everything on Zanar'renth.
If you need more detail, I can look it up.. or make it up *grin*.. if you do decide to use Zanar'renth.. I'd also like a transcript of the RP when you're done.. would add some detail to my world that I didn't have to think up.

The only one that I have actually done any writing on is the Triverse. And I would have to dig it up ad post it for you, or PM it or whatever. It's been a while since I've messed with it. But if you wanna invade other dimensions... I would have to know more of the plot.
There're three races in the Triverse, the humans, the Shadows, and the Listeners. The Sadows and the Listeners have always been, and will probably always be enemies. The Shadows try to protect the poor, stoopid humans from the Listeners. The humans go about daily life not knowing anything about it. There are a few humans that know about the Shadows. If you want, I can look up more info and get it to you. There's plenty of magic, but the only real technoloy comes from the human factor. The Shadows and Listeners have always used magic against each other, not really worrying about technology. You can choose whether Earth and the human race are far into the future with interesting new gadgets to play with. I'll edit my post with more information up there if you're interested.

I have a related series of worlds (travel among them is possible, and common; travel among them and non-related worlds is also possible, although how common it is depends on the world. Only connection between these and other people's worlds that's been established as somewhat normal is with Sjirra.):
I'll edit in info and worlds as I feel like it.
Kemerath: the most advanced, magically and technologically. Kemerot mages are revered in almost all worlds.
Telenor: somewhat less advanced than Kemerath, but very much under the former's thumb. Somewhat poor. Main distinguishing trait is its nomadic population, and the winter storms that make almost all activities impossible across the world for a period of weeks.
Hez: rocks. Sky. Not much else. (Pet Rocks are from here.)
Adys: the drowned world. Formerly home to a civilization more advanced than Kemerath, but the world was covered entirely in water after its god grew angry. Various aquatic races visit, but are not allowed to settle. Only a few races (Nerries, Brightfins) survived the catacylsm, and all were forced to emigrate.
Mar (Nevermind): most developed of all of the above, and least interesting. Various races, few of which are native, call it home. Usually consumed with various local affairs and international wars; nowhere near united.

Caron
Caron is a world that was created shortly after the beginning of time by Coulian, the head wizard of the original Council of wizards. He created the world after the rough ending of the first war so that there was still one place in this universe where creatures of all races could live together without fear.
A world created with nearly all of Coulian’s remaining magic, it is neverending. In what might be considered the center of the world is a huge lake. In the center of the lake is a small island. If you stand in the center of this island and look all around you (with dragon’s eyes) you can just see the edge of the lake all around you. However, taking even a half of a step in any direction with make the view incomplete. Around the lake for miles upon miles (it would take about two weeks to walk from the northern part to the southern part) is a stretch of grassland, with flowers and some fruit trees. To the north of the grassland is a mountain range that never ends. To the south is a neverending forest, to the west is desert, and to the east is ocean (but freshwater, not salt) with several islands in various locations. This world exists in a dimension that lies on a parallel plain to that of our universe, connected by a single gate that is accessible only by magic.
Coulian created several barriers that would protect this world from outside invasion. Firstly, as I said, there is only one entrance to Caron, which is a gate that sits on the center island of the lake in Caron. This gate can only be reached by an incredible piece of magic, magic that no novice could use. Secondly, once the gate is reached, there is a guard (think of the gate actually existing in an ‘in-between’ dimension, not on Caron itself; the island is what’s on the other side of this gate). The guard is the only one that can open the gate, and he will not do so unless you provide him with a password, though they refer to it as a code. Only creatures born in Caron know this code; they are born with the knowledge of it. However, the third barrier of protection on this world is that the code is buried very deep in their subconscious, buried by magic. The code is only remembered in the presence of the deep magic of the gate, but is again forgotten when no longer confronted by it. Therefore, they cannot betray Caron by relinquishing the code to someone who might bring harm to it.
There is a bit more to this world, but it can be difficult to explain here. I’ve written a story about a girl that lives in Caron; however, I am modifying its storyline at the moment. When I’ve completed it I’ll edit it in the writer’s corner and put a link in this thread for anyone who might be interested in reading it.

This is the home of all of my creations, even if a few of them have contradiction historys they can all be found on this planet as well as my bonds, only they are restricted to one fairly good-sized Island. It is an Island planet with all the diffrent inviroments of Earth.

Ah heck, the worlds I have mentioned, if only in passing or don't mention and do use;
Rath - This world was a hellish place given to battle. unfortunately it's been destroyed though the Chrononaughts are currently recovering as much as they can from the planet prior to it's destruction.
Aven - A feudal world, much like medieval europe. With all that implies too, unfortunately.
Ildiran - The home world of the Ildiran Dragons.
Phelan - Where all my bonds are kept, and also where I've 'found' one or two species.
Markovia - The home of the Markovian draconics, a more cerebral planet where the native species are more interested in the mind than anything else.
Erehwemos - The world owned by Chares, an alternate persona I use for the creation of some of the stranger creations.
Shiv - A predominantly desert world.
Skyshroud - A forest cloaked planet, also usually covered in clouds as well.
Thakalos - An incorpreal plane of existence, the home 'land' of the Thakalos Dreamsower.
I'll add better descriptions as and when I have the time.

Gaia
Umm how to desribe my world...
Gaia is a young world having just only started to be able to support the various creatures that live on it. There is only one Goddess that claims this world and she is simply know as the Lady though the people and creatures have started to call her Lady Gaia. Original the people of Gaia were just a small group of human and Elves who's ship had crashed on this new world. they soon realised that they could barely survive this world and it's dangers and so the Lady took pity on them and gave them a choice. Let her Change them in something that could suvive on this world or perish. Many agreed and so were Changed. They Became cat-like humanoids. Covered in fur from head to toe and with long whip like tail. They kept their human/elvish faces but their eyes became cat like and their teeth became those of predatory animals. The Lady, happy with the Change, took one family aside and made them the Carers of this new race of people. She then named them. They are Known as Fell Cats. The Lady then took the Four children of the Carer's family and Made them the Guardians of Gaia. She gave them special abilities and powers to help them in this task. These four are Kitarna Elmira and her twin sister Nienya Elmira and their younger siblings the twins Neko and Nekor.
Many creatures live on this young world and more are being given life by The Lady all the time. many things have happened on this world. War has come and gone and has sadly left it's mark on the People and creatures. But many good things have come as well. for instance Kit's 3 children, now adults. the Twins Elta and Orla and her Son Rohan. A forth child is on the way and Kit and her family can't wait. A new member of the family is Nataliya, a human woman who decided to join with Kit and her's when she found that she no longer wished to live on her homeworld of Earth. The Goddess made Nataliya The Angel of Gaia and granted her strange gifts and abilities. She also gave her a pair of Silver Wings that are 13ft when fully spread. And of course there is the one power that all Angels share. Some see it as a gift, others see it as a curse, either way all have it. it is the gift to grant life or give death.
All 5 Guardians protect Gaia from those who wish to take the creatures who call it home or who just wish it harm.
Gaia is mostly a forest planet. It does have mountain ranges and plains. most of the far northern hemisphere is cover with ice and snow. it has two large continants, an eastern one and western one. Most live on the western continant but when the populations increase the eastern one will soon begin to be populated.
(And that's all i can think of at the moment. it's still a work in progress :D )

hi tis me again. Ok here are my worlds. all of which i write about also.
1st...
Arcania.
a world of legends, and rituals. Here you can find wild gyrls, fierce vampyre warriors, slavers, (its an adult world) merchants and more. Arcania is broken up into mini realms all ruled by a vampyre warrior whose loyalty is pledged to Arcania's over ruler Lord Kyrel. Arcania is medieval.
2.
Tempestria.
Ruled by Storm. a world of medieval culture mixed with modern & futuristic tehcnology. here you will find the famed Fire warriors, Unicorn warriors and more.
Creatures, hmm foxes, rabbits - your usual critters. also Unicorns which like Pernese dragons choose their rider, dragons - ranging from metallics to black, in fact any colour at all. winged unicorns, winged horses, horses, dolphins, heck even mermaids.
3.
Kallaria.
*a mixture of arcania and tempestria* with space ships. A space empire stretching many galaxies. with new age technology, yet they still use swords.
- Kallaria is under construction- so more info as i work on it*
hope that helps, and if you want more info, i can supply stories which add more bg details.

Name of your World: Tenocus
General Description: A world very similar to Earth with only two large land masses and many islands ranging in all sizes. It is a world of many different beings and a bloody past.
Specifics--
Races: describe any sentient beings here.
The Shifters- People with the power to shift into an animal form either partially or all the way. The animal they harbor is genetic, and is usually passed down by the father.
They live in all parts of the world with kings and queens to rule them. They mostly live in small towns and cities, though there are the few large kingdom cities scattered across the lands.
The Telepaths- A race of people with both telekinetic and telepathic powers who had come to Kildahr to assimilate it and made great progress before their connection to their people was cut off when their empire fell one thousand years ago. Now they mingle as one with the Shifters, but not without a few feuds left over from centuries passed.
The Hybrids- A mix of the Shifters and Telekinetics that have both abilities.
The Dragon Halves- A race that mostly keeps to themselves in the mountains, though a few come down to live on the flat lands with the Shifters. They live in tribes and answer to the Old Great Chiefton who is the oldest living Dragon Half. No one knows exactly how old he is, but Dragon Halves live for several hundreds of years, and he has lived many.
Water Dragons (http://annemccaffreyfans.org/forum/showpost.php?p=809109&postcount=674)- A race that rarely comes out of the oceans to converse with other beings that also live in small tribes.
Tyto Vulpes (http://annemccaffreyfans.org/forum/showpost.php?p=808417&postcount=673)- Fox-like companions of the Dragon Halves that also live in the mountains and forests.
Elemental Stallions (http://annemccaffreyfans.org/forum/showpost.php?p=806817&postcount=669)- A sentient race of equines that mostly live in herds of 5-10 on the planes and sometimes in the forests.
Geography: describe the geography of your planet here.
There are two major land masses, the larger of the two named Kildahr and the smaller named Uminos. There are also countless small islands that would be too many to name, most of which don't even have names.
The ocean to the east of Kildahr is called The Kent Ocean and to the west is the Sanirian Waters.
Plantlife: describe the plantlife of the planet.
Mostly forests with Deserts to the west, in Kildahr and to the East in Uminos.
Places: describe cities or villages.
See above Race descriptions.
Schools and Religions: describe the education and religion of your planet.
The Dragon Halves and most of the other sentient creatures worship the earth itself, where as the Shifters and Telepaths have an ancestral religion.

Tempestria, Kallaria plus Arcania were sub realms watched over by a over-ruler Yzarius. they subsequently went poof when their realm rulers died.
My new worlds are -
Crystal Fire Empire.
ruled By Yzarius. He's part crystal part fanged male. a warrior who loves crystals.
a world of modern technology, crystal powered - of course. HE wont accept anything else. Also solar plus wind power. computers are - everyone owns one - pretends they don't. climate - depends on Yzarius's mood. He controls the weather, the sun also moon. when they turn crystal - look out.
animals - foxes, rabbits, horses etc. eels and sharks inhabit the seas. eels have been caught up to the size of a earth 747. eels are a forbidden prey. Only one hunts those.
Wolves vary in size also.
Creepy critturs abound in cellars, mines also caves. Creepy is apt, some of the spiders can get as large as a car. the largest rat ever caught, was the size of a horse. now that is too Big.
Customs - slavery is legal. breeding strictly restricted. Crystal Fire Empire is allied with Nightmare Empire, also Night Fury Empire. its the Nightmare Emperor who decrees all laws. as Yzarius quoted recently, `When HE says jump - you jump."
-
Night Fury Empire is similar to Crystal Fire Empire.
Its ruled by Yzarius's 1stborn son Zyarius.
climate - Zyarius controls it.
Nightmare Empire...
Now we come to the serious stuff. If you want a place where time literally stands still. you have found it. the Nightmare Emperor or Stig - as His daughter Alia named HIM, loathes time. HE controls the weather, the sun. it only sets when HE wants it to set. when its stormy, HE's on a Nightmare Hunt - hunting prey.
Animals - HE only permits a few. wolves, horses, felines. also eels and sharks.
*all three worlds are under construction - so i only have limited amount of pics.*

Aan
The now destroyed homeworld of the Aan people. (See Midnight Sea)
A large world, it's planetary diameter was twice that of Earths and was home tho the Aan, an ancient race. Among the oldest peoples in the known Universe, the Aan while not immortal, had through both evolution and various scientific and genetic methods become extremely long lived.
Three Moons: Errasos, the largest (about half again as large as Luna) Derros, about half the size of Luna and Starlight, the smallest; the same size as Mars' smallest Moon.
Aan existed up until around 10,000 years prior to my stories opening and was deliberately destroyed by the Aan themselves in order to prevent a deadly and extremely virulent plague that continuously defied the Aan's attempts to cure. The Aan found a way to move the few remaining immune survivors to another Universe that they had accidentally discovered a century before; they discovered that certain natural elements and radiations in this Universe effectively nullified the plague virus, but was for various reasons, ineffective if translated out of their natural environment into our own. Harnessing massive energies, the Aan opened a large gateway through to this Universe in which allowed the 34,500 survivors to pass though while, in order to prevent the plague from spreading in our Universe, destroying the Aan world and moons and completely sterilizing the remains that eventually became an asteroid belt in the Ann system between the fourth and fifth planets.
