Bollam was the inept new singer that called in the mayday on Lanzecki's last trip to the ranges, Bollam was Trag's replacement. Bollam was Lanzecki's opt-out knowing Bollam was new and inexperienced and likely wouldn't have the nerve to stop him. Where 'mayday' didn't mean really anything on Ballybran, Killa told Lars they wouldn't respond to the mayday by going to the claim and told Bollam to get out of there leaving Lanzecki in thrall. Killa and Lars returned and when questioned if they had been close enough to get to Lanzecki, Killa claimed, "I mean Lanzecki chose!"

OK, this one's from Crystal Line. When Killashandra visits Biyanco's harmat distillery, she retunes the crystals in the machinery for him atfer a soured crystal causes her considerable pain.

1.What colour are these crystals?

2. From which range on Ballybran did they originate?

3. And how does Killa "improve" the crystals for Biyanco?

I hope it's OK to ask 3 questions in one hit....

Just a bit more Ireland trivia:

Killashandra is a town in Ireland
Armagh is a county in norther Ireland

Looks like Anne just looked at a map of Ireland for naming things in this series! (not that I'm complaining!)

There are also Irish songs that have Killashandra mentioned (as a place) and Carrickfergus.
