Yes, our very own Clamdgr will shortly be descending on the UK
I think this merits at the least a mini-Gather, at the most a series of them :D
Priscilla and her husband will be in the UK for 10 days. The question is how to ensure that she gets to meet as many folk as possible?
We already have plans outside London for the middle weekend of her visit, but might be able to get back in time to have a mini-Gather somewhere in Central London at say 1500 or 1600 on Sunday 27 February? Failing that a weekday evening in the previous week or between then and Thursday 3 March may also be possible.
So bids please for Clamdgr :D

I can't commit to any particular day/date (the W word ;) ) - but I'll do my best to attend whenever a Gather is organsied for.

if were limiting ourselves to Central London ... i could possibly get the day off work (sunday) ... although a weekday on either side of the weekend is better for me ;) as it'l be easiar for me to get a week day off !
what do you think? theres also the possibility i could travel further if necessary ???? if there aren't anymore takers i could come to you and the clamdgr

I'm afraid there's not much chance of me getting to London any time soon unless I get a sudden and unexpected windfall. Money is kinda tight around now, and it costs to get to London and back.

Hmm,
If it's at a weekend I could probably arrange to get down to London - it's not very far :) I'd have to check train prices, though :shhh:

OK, looks like most folk prefer a meet at the weekend.
Sunday 27 February in the afternoon could be possible :D
We could either meet at say a pub in Central London, or if most people are coming from the North maybe somewhere north of London might be more suitable? Maybe even that super pub we met in for Bob and Caer's wedding celebration?
I'll post a poll tomorrow when I've consulted the map :bouncy:

That particular pub isn't what it used to be...the current landlady can be a bit...well, a LOT...offish!
However, if this area suits people there's another canalside pub, actually a bit closer to town even, that I can recommend.
Not sure about the mushy peas though....guess I could bring a tin and a masher if people really wanted!
