Does anyone have any recommendations for a canon Pern Weyr? If not, is anyone interested in co-hosting a Weyr with me?

How would you define your meaning of canon?
Rocky Crater Weyrhold (http://www.rockycrater.org) tends to follow book-canon fairly closely. No female blue or brown -riders, for example. We're an AIVAS-tech, post-9th Pass club, set 740+ Turns after the events in the Skies of Pern. Threadfall (at least from the Red Star) is a thing of the past, though a comet has brought a brief return of it. We operate under a female oppression scenario: only the Weyrs and Weyrholds train up female crafters; the Holds don't. They haven't for around a 150 Turns, nor do they acknowledge a Weyr-trained woman's craft rank. Despite being an AIVAS-tech club, the world RCWh exists in is little changed from the earlier books. References to plumbing, timepieces (wall or table more so than pocket or wrist watches), a power dam, and electric lamps in limited locations are about the only tech that jumps to mind from recent (within the last 12 RL months) posts.

Affray Weyr. The only non-canon thing we do is allow female blue and brownriders.
Our canon includes:
Dragonflight, Dragonquest, The White Dragon, the Harper Hall trilogy, Moreta, Nerilka, Dragonseye/RSR, Dragonsdawn, and the Smallest Dragonboy and a Gift of Dragons.
It adamantly DOES NOT include:
Dolphins or Renegades or Masterharper of Pern, Skies of Pern, All the Weyrs of Pern, or anything that happened after The White Dragon. We like our Pern classic, thank you! About the only technology is leftovers (we used the ubiquitous buliding on an ancients' site method for the Weyr, but ours is set in the side of a cliff.) like one still working shower in someone's weyr.
Stop by and visit- we like lurkers, and we have a lot of fun. If you join the main group that my signature links you to, it will direct you to the RP group, which is separate from the main one.
We play in three different timelines in our own Weyr's history, which is fun. We play in our Founding, First Fall and "Present" which is Turn 28, Tenth Pass.
Stop by and visit, we have a lot of fun!

I think I did join Rocky Crater once.... But I had issues joining the Yahoo groups... Something about not having Yahoo as my internet server?

That might have been the old Rocky Crater Weyr. It closed in the summer of 2002, and was totally reworked into Rocky Crater Weyrhold that fall. From the start RCWh has been using its own mailing list server -- which is a blessing compared to Yahoo! Groups.

I'm just restarting one I'd meant to play around with a long time ago. It's now in forum form to stop the battle between full-poster people and round-robin people.
But it seems there aren't many forum-style Weyrs that adhere to canon. But Arethar Weyr (http://arethar.8.forumer.com) does -- the only non-canon thing we have is the rare Impression to women on brown.
I am looking for another moderator, sooooo ... *cute!*

If you prefere PbEM:razz: there's Storm Fires (http://www.geocities.com/storm_fires/) and Rising Dawn (http://www.geocities.com/risingdawnweyr/index.html) Weyrs, two alternate 9th pass Weyrs that opperate under a fairly canon premise (so please don't go asking for those multicolored dragons). We've got a fair sized club but we always welcome new members with new ideas for fun plots.
We've got, not one, but two clutches on the Sands right now, one at each Weyr and we're looking for candidates.

I should have mentioned as well about Affray, that we don't have rank requirements like other clubs, you can just play what you want right out of the gate. We believe that playing the character is so much more important than just getting the character. We also have no post count requirements, or anything like that. So we have a lot of fun!
We do the RP's on a separate group. The main group linked in my signature is the "administration and general chatter" group.
