I'm a big fan of his fiction books loosly following Jack Ryan.

his other works like SSN and the Netforce series are ok too , but seem to mostly be collaborations these days ...

the first book of his that i read was Red Storm Rising, set in the oldendays when the big red was a danger everyday :)

I've enjoyed his stuff too. The early books were especially good. I haven't read the last one (or two?? ). They require a lot of time to read because they are so long and have so many characters. The last few I read were a struggle to get through the first few hundred pages, but then you were reading as fast as you could until the end because it was so exciting. :D

But not Alec Baldwin as Jack Ryan. Harrison Ford is much better. :heartbeat
