Because GR'ass started the Badger thread, I thought it'd be a good idea to start a Duck thread.
This thread is for ducks: if you're a badger, you will be booted to the ends of the earth.

Nope she was sober but she may have been a little distraught as she had just caught her lover (woolly (I am not resposable for Sim Woolly's actions but suffice to say Woolly loves everyone literally!!!!)) kissing Crispy (who is woolly's hubby). So I guess it could have been on the rebound as was the birth of her first child, come to think about it the second time her and Milo made a baby was when they caught Woolly and Cripsy at it!!!.

In the sims two you can have babies, so far GR'ass and Bamy have been born as Sims. Woolly and Rabble Sim are original memebers of the Willeteers Sim family as is Bully and Milo. You maybe luckily however as Woolly and Rabble are both preggers currently.

Not exactly no. Kitties have nothing to do with it. *glares at Rabble* Cats are too independant to care one way or the other.
No, the choice is between: 1) On the one hand, you have the ducks (who, btw, are not all actually ducks - we have eagles and dolphins and wolves and a lot of other creatures within our group. We even have a badger!), a group dedicated to having fun, and taking playful swipes at the badgers. We have a nice, clean pond for swimming, a huge basillica, and you get to have a nice, shiny title. And the company of some wonderful people.
2) On the other hand, you have the badgers. They're pretty exclusively badgers. No other creatures allowed. You get to live in a hole in the ground, and you get to gnaw on ankles. alcohol will be forever denied you since Rabble regularly drinks the entire badger supply, and then has to steal from us to get more. And you get to torment squirrels.

Diehard duck survives big freeze
A duck and its tale of survival are making headlines in the US state of Florida this morning.
A hunter shot the duck and put it in his refrigerator thinking it was dead.
Wildlife rescue worker Noni Beck says the fridge door was opened two days later and the duck was found to be still alive.
"Actually she [the hunter's wife] said her mum had opened the refrigerator and the duck just lifted her head and I'm sure she kind of freaked," Ms Beck said.
Vets say the duck's low metabolism rate helped it survive its time in the refrigerator.
It is now being cared for at an animal sanctuary where vets have rated it a 75 per cent chance of survival.

Sounds similar to the Stovetop stuff.. comes in Herb, Garlic, Cajun, Onion, etc. flavors. It tastes fine as a side dish, but doesn't taste quite right when cooked inside the bird.

Lady Cin
25th February 2007, 11:18 PM
Recipe pls?
Cornbread Stuffing
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 medium onion, peeled and finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
4 to 5 cups crumbled cornbread
1 teaspoon rubbed dried sage
1-1/2 teaspoons crumbled dried thyme
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons milk
*you can adjust the amount of herbs and onion to taste*
Heat the oil in a large heavy skillet over medium heat.
Add the onion and cook, stirring, until just about tender, about 3 minutes.
Add the garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until the garlic is fragrant.
Transfer to a bowl.
Add the remaining ingredients except the milk, and stir together.
Taste and adjust seasoning.
Moisten with milk as needed.
Fill turkey and place remaining stuffing in an oiled or buttered baking dish. Cover the dish with foil and heat through in a 325 degrees F oven for 30 minutes.
--------------
What kind of cornbread you use, is a matter of taste.. but I don't recommend sweetened.
Cook the bird by weight.. you may need to add a few extra mins to the cooking time for the stuffing.. depends on the moisture content.. don't let the bird get dried out.
I've used this same recipe for ages.. handed down from my great-grandmother. Works well with chicken, turkey, duck or goose.. use as a side dish for pheasant or other small birds.
