What are your favorite movie scores? I would have to say mine would be Gladiator, Lord of the Rings (all three), and Mists of Avalon. In no order.

Yep I definitely love the LotR music, most of it anyways, I can't really remember others  The Star Wars one is pretty cool - oooh and one of my faves Moulin Rouge! Oh yes and let's not forget The Lion King (the original)

Soundtracks I've bought & enjoyed:

Labyrinth
Top Gun
X-Files
Grease 1 & 2
Hope Floats
Grosse Pointe Blank
Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion

Lord of the Rings. All three. They're just amazing.

They were particularly fantastic at the Lord of the Rings Symphony I went to at the Sydney Opera House. The Sydney Symphony Orchestra and two choirs, all conducted by Howard Shore. It was wonderful....

I'm also a fan of the Harry Potter soundtracks. They're fantastic as well.

LotR, all three.
Star Wars
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron
Crimson Tide
Dirty Dancing
Top Gun
Rain Man
The Last of the Mohicans

Howard Shore, John Willams and Hans Zimmer are definitely among my favorite orchestral music composers.

'The Mission' had a wonderful sound track by Enrico Marriconi (not sure on spelling) very atmospheric and quite beautiful!
Well worth a listen if you stumble across it.

Another Star Wars person here. Also, Forrest Gump and Mr. Holland's Opus. I didn't include any musicals, because the list would be waaaaay too long. :D

Must admit to liking a fair few Star Trek soundtracks... But currently listening to the Battlestar Galactica mini-series theme, as mentioned in another thread

Also like Queer as Folk music a lot, but that's more dancey than soundtrack'ey... Romeo and Juliet (the Leo Decapitated version) is pretty groovy, as is the music to Fifth Element, especially Diva Dance :ok:

Before I lost the last of my hearing I had several fave soundtracks including:

The Sea Hawk
Captain Blood
The Adventures of Robin Hood(Errol Flynn was in all three of those)
Yankee Doodle Dandy(James Cagney)
White Christmas(Bing Crosby)
The Last of the Dogmen(Tom Berenger)
The Last of the Mohicans(Daniel Day-Lewis)

I suspect that I would have loved hearing The Lord of the Rings soundtracks as well but I was legally deaf before they started filming those.
