i always seem to spend my time ... being nosey watching what everyone else looks at .... its a good way of spotting interesting posts without having to read the duller ones ;)

Yes, I do it all the time, mostly because once I've gone through all the new posts and I'm sitting in chat I like to have something else to do, so I wait for someone to post something new to see if it's something I'm interested in replying to :roll: :D

The first bulletin board I was ever on, where it was friendly, was the support forums where I have my website. They had that feature there and I used it all the time. It was set to reload the page about every minute or so and it kept me from being timed out of the board if I was away from it for a while.

When I went to the KTBB, they had the feature disabled. I was so disappointed.

I've only used it once or twice here, but I might use it more if it auto-reloads.

I didn't know about the feature before. Might check it out once in a while now, though. And it does auto-reload. At least if you're using firefox it does. :ok:

I did it more as admin on AMoS but here I tend to only pop in if the willets quite but there are a number of willet'eers online... See what they're up to when they should be willet'ing :evil:
