I love the Pythons!!!

I think my favourite is the chocolate box...with the Crunchy Frog and the Lark Vomit, and the one that shoots sharp springs through your cheeks.

I think my fave has to be Holy Grail, but I don't like the ending  and I'm not good with the quotes, but I love the knight who won't stop fighting when his arms and legs get chopped off one by one  and also the knights who say Ni!! erm, I don't think I ever got to see any of the episodes of it, just the movies though...

Oooh almost forgot to ask about the music ... what do you think about the songs spawned by Monty Python???

The Galaxy song is a classic :D :D

Hmm they just opened a new show on Broadway called "Spamelot" after some ideas and humor of MP.

Some things to consider: The ministry of silly walks, the "Larch" episode, and "Been shopping? No, been shopping." But I think the man who couldn't eat another bite, gets offered a mint ("it's wafer thin") and then explodes might be in my top 5!

I Know!!!! its so unfair that its not over here :( i wanna see it :faint:

I do believe it is ...*

"And Now for something Completely Different"

its the bit where they all dive for cover as he eats the after dinner mint ! Classic stuff :bouncy: :D :bouncy: :D

*(Ian says it was Meaning of life and Not Now for something completely different!)

Hard to choose, but I'm gonna go with the cheese shop (http://www.minderella.com/words/cheeseshop.htm).

It's not much of a cheese shop, is it?
Finest in the district!
Explain the logic underlying that conclusion, please.
Well, it's so clean, sir!
It's certainly uncontaminated by cheese...

The parrot sketch is good, but it's just so overdone now.

*(Ian says it was Meaning of life and Not Now for something completely different!)

Ian is right.

I've only seen Meaning of Life and Holy Grail. I loved the knights' song and dance number at the beginning of Holy Grail, and the scene in Meaning of Life where the fellow is trying to get the wife to donate her organs was terrific!

Now I have to go out and rent Life of Brian.

I've also sadly only seen Holy Grail, but I loved it! As someone said, the dance number was fan bloody tastic. I have to see more!

We watched the 'Holy Grail' movie in English last year. We had a few days to screw around before Christmas vacation, and that was my English teacher's favorite movie. :ok: We had also just finished the King Arthur stories in our British literature book.

In my biology lab last semester we watched ten minutes or so of it. We were talking about the scientific method, so we watched the part with the witch and the duck.

I really like the monks when they chant and slam their heads.
