I am an evening person -- don't wake me until the sun is almost down again! ;)

It depends on the day, whether the sun is shining, whether it is winter or summer, whether I have something exciting to do, whether I feel lazy, lively, whether I stayed up too late or whether my Granddaughter is visiting.....

I had to go for PMD because it usually depends on what the weather is like or which season it is, but usually I like noon - bedtime. I am NOT a morning person :irked: blech

It used to be sometime in the afternoon - lately - NEVER.

I'm a nightowl. ;) I can get up early, but don't expect much out of me until the afternoon or evening.

I'm a shift worker so i had to adapt pretty darn quickly to all times of the day  , on the plus side is it means i get to choose the PMD option coz thats the best option to suit me ;)

Night owl!
Unfortunately w*rk forces me to be awake in the m*rning. But it is a weekend! So I am still awake (and wide awake at that) at 1.30am!

Good around lunch. Like to stay up late and sleep late. I finally told my early bird friends and family that if they don't call me early in the morning, I won't start calling them late at night.

I am usually a morning person, but lately getting up is becoming difficult. Probably due to having to get up in the middle of the night to feed Lucas.

Yes, it does depend on the day for me as well. Whether I have plans, work, or various other things (like -coughCLEANINGcough-) to do makes a difference when I'm up.
And sometimes the weather motivates me to move. If it's a lovely day, I usually feel much too energetic. And I like the rain! When it's raining - I write.
Generally I'm an evening person. ;)

Nocturnal here. Earliest I like being up is late afternoon, though I don't mind getting up REALLY early (like 3 AM) for some reason.

I voted noctural, because I seem to be most creative then.
I can be wide awake at any time.

It all depends on what kind of night I had. :D A really good sleep and I'm fine at 6 am. A night of tossing and turning and it's worth your life to get me up before 8.

Definately Nocturnal, although working days this can be difficult. As soon as I hit my hols everyone knows I will change my days to nights and they know it's pointless coming to visit.

Nightowl, here.
Hence the name.
Except Nagetier doesn't mean nightowl, my old onceuponatime common username was Nachtigall.

Depends on whether I'm working or not, so I voted PMD. I work night shift, so I HAVE to be up then, but when I'm off, I'm a morning person.

I am a morning and an evening person. I hate the afternoon I always get sleepy after lunch. I in the morning I am ready to learn and in the evening I am the most creative.

I prefer late at night when it's quiet and everyone is sleeping. Then I'm good to go by ten in the morning.

I feel like a horrible person if I get up after 9 or 10 usually but I would much rather stay up till all hours of the night and sleep in in the morning if I have the choice. Unfortunately, since I have school everyday (well almost) I actually have to get to bed at a decent time (around midnight usually). I can't wait till summer...

I am nocturnal. I can't function properly during daylight hours and I have been this way so long that my eyes won't even adjust properly during the day.

I sleep when I can but never before 3am!
And I am usually up about 9am courtesy of my three cats wanting food! :shhh: NOT!
so opt for PMD

Definitely a daylight person. If the sun's up...I'm awake. (even if I'd rather not be!...*grumbles* it came up at 6:30 this morning!) Though it definitely makes me more productive in a day!

I wonder if it's an age thing. When I was a teenager I was definitely a night person. Now, it's more cyclical--I am at my best in the morning, I hit a major slump in the afternoon, and I perk up again a bit in the evening.

I prefer night, I can function during the day.
However if I try to wake up between 8am-9am its AWFUL.
I'm pretty good at every other time though.

oh guess I should say I'm an afternoon kind of person.... don't really get up until after 11am and then don't expect me to be active until either food is mentioned :D or two hours after I wake up.

I had to go for PMD as well.
SOMETIMES I can be a morning person (I USED to be actually...). But anymore I'm good from around 10am-10pm.

PMD for me. If I were allowed to follow my natural sleep pattern, I would go to bed about 11:00pm and get up around 8:00am. If I could do that, then I would okay in the morning. I have to be at w*rk at 7:00, so it is never going to happen - we get up about 5:00am. As it stands, I can make my brain work well, on a good day, by about 10:00am. I am best in the early afternoon.

I'm definitely a morning person. My husband gets up every day at 5:30 to get to work so I usually get up around 6:30 as he's leaving the house. I get most of my work done before noon. By 9 pm a nice snooze is looking pretty good!

I'm very much a non-morning perosn though over the years, as we've had cats to wake us for breakfast (theirs!) I've learned to be a little more tolerant of pre-mid-morning times!

Voted :md: Not coz I'm always at my best, but as I vary a lot! I can be good at anytime of day ... well except immediatly after the alarm goes off on a w*rk day, but I don't think anyone is at their best then! ;)

I am a morning and an evening person. I hate the afternoon I always get sleepy after lunch. I in the morning I am ready to learn and in the evening I am the most creative.
Try eating a lighter lunch. Heavy lunches containing lots of protein tend to make you sleepy. I know they do me.
I work best in late morning-early afternoon, either side of a light lunch. I can do routine stuff that doesn't require much thought in the late afternoon or evening as well. If I had the choice, I'd probably sleep between ten at night and nine in the morning.

Dark-time beastie. :good:
This may well be why I dislike winter - it gets too cold to do anything except hide under blankets at night.

I don't do mornings from choice, but I can get up if I have to, and usually feel quite smug about it once I am up. I have also been known to go to bed before midnight, but I can't remember the last time it happened.
