There is a short review of Changelings here:

Is it fair? Is it honest? What are your thoughts on the review?

I agree with it completely.

I do too...but I missed the sex change of the Track cats...

The sex changed annoyed me constantly.

Was it Coaxtl and Nanook or the little fuzzies?

I'm not a fan of these two books. It's nice to catch up with some of the characters but it's all a bit flat somehow

It was a bit flat- so was Maelstrom.
Very long in some places and cut short in others!

Yup, definitely a let-down after the earlier books. :(

Not read Maelstrom yet...but the first rwas a very easy read...nowhere near as meaty as the first three or the earlier books of other series.

I find Acorna's Children to be very similar to the Petaybe twins book too...easy reads...though a little more meaty.

I noticed the sex change and it annoyed me too. Nanook was supposed to be male and Coxtyl was female.
Maelstorm was cut way to short... it was going at a pretty good clip and then WHAM! Right into a brick wall... or off a cliff...

Very frustrating when the ending sneaks up before you expect it to!

Definitely room for yet another book!
(just finished maelstrom)
Odd the way it just stopped and left those loose ends
