I've made a thread in the Lounge for quotes, but I thought it'd be nice to have one specifically for Pern. Post your favorites! :D

Heres another one I like from when Golanth is training his telekinetic abilities with moving a trundlebug -

Actually, that's what AIVAS quoted from the Bible to Robinton just before he died. So it's not of Pern origin, but it was included in the books.

It really illustrates the instantanious love between dragon and rider at impression, and the immediate strength of their bond.
