The ones I know I type in, especially because I usually go back and put in the appropriate smilies *after* I have finished writing my post. I don't like my "flow" of writing (and thought) being interrupted by such things.

I do sometimes click on the ones on the right of the reply-to screen, or if I can't remember the "code". A few have changed since we moved from the old BB to this one.

That used to happen to me but not anymore. But I haven't got a clue as to why it is not happening anymore.

I usually click on the smilies, because I can't remember a lot of the names. Also because I make some typos and they interfere with smilies.

I type the code for the ones I know, click for those I don't. It would have been nice if the smilies used here that were used at the KTBB had the same exact code. Since I know many those already. I would have been nice if the smilies that don't have the closing ":" had the closing ":". It might keep some of the smilies from triggering other smilies instead of the one required.

It may be a question of which browser you're using. Firefox won't insert smileys anywhere except at the end of the post. However, it's a small price to pay for an otherwise brilliant browser.

My smilies go wherever my cursor is. :D So I just click. It's easier that trying to remember all the codes.
