View Full Version : Ballybran Crystals & Earth Crystals...?

I'm not sure why I've been pondering this, other than I saw the thread on yellow crystals, but I wondered, for those of us who have any insight into the metaphysical / mystical / healing properties of crystals and gemstones on earth, which would you associate with the feelings generated by reading about them in the books?
Am I making myself clear?
I'm thinking along the lines of Pink Crystal being Rose Quartz... Something that's not overtly powerful but very warm and loving and nice to have around?
What might you associate with Black? Yellow? Green? Blue? Others...?

Ah the wonders of google - this seemed to have the best info I could find and has several varieties of quartz, though it depends which gemstone you would correlate with which colour of Ballybran crystal (taking into account that 'black' crystal is actually colourless until pressure is exerted upon it): http://www.hehishelo.co.uk/stones/general.htm
It might also be that different shades of the main colour groupings produce different feelings too.

...(taking into account that 'black' crystal is actually colourless until pressure is exerted upon it)...Clear quartz will change colour when irradiated, though this isn't a practice I particularly go for... I do have several pieces of quartz that have been manipulated with gold or silver though... They produce some extremely vibrant stones that are classified as retaining and gaining metaphysical properties still.

For some reason I can't pinpoint why I've always associated blue crystals with Sapphire, that's including pale blue crystals which I see as the paler blue ceylon sapphires

I suppose I'd always considered the blues to be mroe like Blue Calcite but the properties of calcite just don't seem right for the Ballybran Crystals...
