Okay guys and gals. To celebrate the opening of our new site we have put together for your entertainment a bookchat and trivia for Sunday January 1 on The Renegades of Pern.

Bookchat will be live in our nice new chatroom at 9pm GMT on January 1 in Bookchat Corner. Yes we have our very own room.

Also on January 1 on the Bulletin Board we will be having a multiple choice trivia on the same book. This is your chance to bone up on the one book for TWO events. Trivia will run for one week.

So you now have over two weeks to reread Renegades. So get cracking!

Good! *rubs hands in glee* I know "Renegades" isn't the most popular of the series, but I've always rather liked it, if only for the way it fills in gaps and neatly joins up the story-line between "The White Dragon" and "All the Weyrs". I'll certainly try to be there.

Okay, game plan for Jan 1. I will try and log in as planned but if chat is still being screwy we will reschedule bookchat for a later date, but for you trivia freaks, trivia will go on as scheduled. So do try and log into chat on Jan 1 and if you can't then please knock yourselves out on trivia.

Sorry folks. Lily just pointed out my error to me. In the original post I had put January 2. That is because I am stupid and also because that is what day we southeners have to do it. The correct date IS January 1

Well it's been and gone and I must say very successful. Thank you to all the members who came. A fun time was had by all methinks.

We are setting up for next bookchat so go vote and tell us what series to tackle next.
