PLEASE READ FIRST

Welcome to the Spam thread! This thread has one reason – Spamming. All posts must fall within site guidelines (obviously) and NO POSTS MAY BE MADE AFTER THE FIFTIETH PAGE (2,500 posts).

Whoever posts the 2,500th post (the last on page 50) starts the new spam thread.

Apart from the above, anything goes. You may post as much, and whatever, you like. Many posts are contain ‘Spam!’ and subsidiary terms, such as ‘Spamsanity!’. There is no requirement to read anything posted in the periods between you last visits.

Post counts do not matter. Spam is not intended to be a race against time or for high post counts. Please do not try and one-up each other, and do NOT quote post counts in large amounts.

Yes, my mom is on medication (for about 15 years) and has been taking them, but her schizophrenia is just getting progressively worse, it has been for a long time.

Therapy and meds and even extended hospital stays never really made her better, just kept her calmer. But she has never actually progressed above a certain point.

They were at my sister's, hiding from the council and social services after I was reported. Managed to save my boys and some of the girls from RSPCA and death at least.
(The woman that took 28 of my rats to foster and rehome, couldn't cope and sent em to the RSPCA, knowing full well they couldn't take on that many and they were euthanised)

I have 16 left from 50.

Holy shit, there was nearly a murder attempt in the house... I think my mother is literally insane.

The other house we were living in before sold, and everything is being moved out. The only thing left is my mother's dresser, and when my grandpa wanted to move it out today, she got obstinate. She didn't want him emptying her drawers and seeing what was in there, but she didn't want to do it either. When he insisted that it had to be done today, she just snapped. For some reason, she REALLY doesn't want anyone to see what's in there, yet refuses to do it herself. She attacked him when he said he was going to do it himself. I came running upstairs to find out what the hell all the screaming was about, and she was bloody mindless. She screamed that she was going to kill him if he did it himself, and kept trying to get past me to strangle him. I was afraid I was going to have to hit her or something, but finally she gave up and went back in her room crying. It's not like my grandpa couldn't have fought back if it came to it, but if one time she gets in a rage like that and has a knife...

The hospitals here won't even take her anymore because she's a danger to the staff, apparently she attacked a nurse last time. The only thing they suggested was sending her to some sort of asylum type place.

My god, I'm scared to even have her in the same house now.Sorry to hear things might be flaring up again with her:hugs:

It's a tough choice to make to have to put someone you love into an asylum. However, the real downside to not getting her committed might be someday, something happens, and you'll wish you had acted sooner:erm:

Cuz Naomi says he can :redfruit:

What I wanna know is how he flies upside-down!'Tis called "barrel-roll"

Know the principle (http://www.allstar.fiu.edu/aero/fltmidfly.htm) behind how a regular plane is able to get lift from the wing:

air moving along the path of the upper side of the wing has to travel further than the air moving on the lower part--this causes air pressure differences...Low pressure above the wing, high pressure below--this gives boyancy to the plane as it moves forward

Now, take your barn-storming pre-WWI plane and flip it! :whee: Now, we've put the "lifting" surface of the airfoil on the bottom--so how is it, the plane's not racing into the dirt? Because the pilot's pitched the elevator controls to direct the plane toward a "dive" toward the clouds (with respect to the body of the airplane, the Earth is "above" the pilot's head), thus making the path for air to actually travel longer on the "bottom" of the wing

The reason this works is that the explaination in the link above doesn't give complete discription of the forces that make it happen--This link does! (http://www.allstar.fiu.edu/aero/airflylvl3.htm)

Now that we've thoroughly fried, broiled, & nuked Bronzie's brain, Temeraire would be just doing the same thing, but with an instinctive ability for flight--

--after all, if you bothered to look at the equations of static forces for a person on the ground, you humans should never be able to walk--the moment you lift one foot to take a step, you should topple over!

As seen on the internet...:

The other day my neighbor, who is blonde, came running up to me in the driveway just jumping for joy! I didn't know why she was jumping for joy but I thought, what the heck, and starting jumping up and down along with her.

She said, "I have some really great news!" I said, "Great. Tell me why you're so happy." She stopped jumping, and breathing heavily from all the jumping up and down, told me that she was pregnant! I knew that she had been trying for a while so I told her, "That's great! I couldn't be happier for you!"

Then she said, "There's more." I asked, "What do you mean 'more'?" She said, "Well, we are not having just one baby. We are going to have TWINS!" Amazed at how she could know so soon after getting pregnant, I asked her how she knew.

She said, "Well, that was the easy part I went to Wal-Mart and they actually had a home pregnancy kit in a twin-pack. Both tests came out positive!"

It is a pig buried to simulate a clandestine grave - and the guy is studying geophysics, soil water etc of the graves to see what effects there are and what is the best method.

Yes, my mom is on medication (for about 15 years) and has been taking them, but her schizophrenia is just getting progressively worse, it has been for a long time.

Therapy and meds and even extended hospital stays never really made her better, just kept her calmer. But she has never actually progressed above a certain point.

She really does need long term specialist help. Who would make the call on that? Her parents, even though she's an adult?

Manny looks similar to my Rascal. Rascal had the hood, but he also had grey patches on his body.

Here's the next question... what is a bun defined as to you? Like a hamburger bun (http://www1.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/3025863/2/istockphoto_3025863_hamburger_bun.jpg), a dinner roll (http://uwmike.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/11/dinner-rolls.jpg), or something else?

How is the writing going? I nearly have finished the report :D

2800 words in total, but only the first third is in final draft form. It'll grow to about 3500-4000, I expect.

If they were on his back, then he was a mismark hooded. If all over his body, and his hood didn't go under his chin and neck, he was a vari.
