I saw today the there was going to be a lock of hair going up for auction. I dont remember who the lock of hair was from but I still thought it was odd. There was a couple of years ago one of the people from this board that put up the contents of her pocket up for auction on eBay. Somebody actually bought it.

A wooden paper towel holder that looks like a oversized dildo.

An honest-to-goodness 'toasting fork', from England. Probably over 100 years old. Looks like it was made of brass. A friend of mine (married to a Brit) brought it to me when he and his wife returned to New Mexico from a trip to visit her family.

On that note: a blow up penis I got for my bachelorette party, signed with sex advice from my aunts, grandmother, mother, and friends!

A 1950's style bedroom comode.
I loved it. Everyone else I know hated it with passion :tapfoot:
It had green upholstery and wicker trim. The 'upholstered seat cover' would be lifted off and the chamber pot sat in a cut out box underneath.
Unfortnately I was convinced to get rid of it by Kylie. I wish we had the room to keep it :(

I was once given a "solar powered cappuccino frother" as a birthday present.

A death mask of the Rev J. Edward Cranbrook, who died of syphyllis in 1878. I stole it from the University of Edinburgh medical museum, painted it blue, placed it on a tall wooden plinth and adorned it with a cigarette, a bushman's hat and a scarlet cravat. But I threw a party and a gatecrasher stole it.

A large, rectangular "binnacle box" which belonged to my ancestor. He was a captain on a Packet ship "The Susan" and the note on the top says it was used in about 1789. This ship carried passengers between New Haven and New York.

Dunno: gas masks, field telephones, vintage silk stockings...
Thing is, when you have militaria nuts for a Dad and a boyfriend you tend to find things like that normal!

I go for unusual items, so I'm not sure what I have that would fit the bill here.

This rather strange silver instrument, which is below my cornet. I believe it is called a "Mellowphone" and is in the key of "G" (the cornet is in the standard "B flat")

I think the prize has to go to the genuine kangaroo scrotum leather coin pouch. :D
For some reason, most of the men I've told about it wince and cross their legs...?

I used to have spur from one of my grandmother's white rock roosters. It was about 3 or 4 inches long. Those roosters were really big birds.

I don't really have any odd things at all! Well, except for some teeth I saved in my childhood.
