No, we got the storm very early Wednesday morning. Woke up to sirens going off. Thankfully the tornado that tried to form actually didn't and kept on going. But because of all the strong winds and lightning and heavy rain, my daughter's school didn't open for two hours(downed trees and electricity knocked out I expect--tho ours never went out :shrug: )--she wanted to just stay home on Wed. I told her she couldn't.. but she got her wish yesterday to stay home... had some kind of flu bug.. yay.

And YES!! I think so. He's having a "Town Meeting", so I think it's going to be outside (I'm hoping), but he hasn't announced the location yet. Hillary will be here on Sunday, but her's is in a gym and can only hold the first 1000 people on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Well.. it's definitely not fun that's for sure. :shudder2: But generally, we get the sirens when it's our county that's under a tornado warning(especially if a tornado has been sighted on the ground).. even if the tornado isn't heading for where we live.. they are all on one system so when our county gets the warning, they all go off. But thankfully it's not too often--just when it's really, really bad out.

(as a side note, they sometimes test the system.. it's kind of odd to hear them go off on a sunny day! :giggle:)
