Well...this kinda stems off Sleeping in Class...

What are your sleeping patterns?

Me? I rarely get any sleep on the weekdays. I stay up til about 5 am every night doing debate, english papers, or research. I then wake up at 6:30. Get home in the afternoons (sometimes) at 4 and go to sleep til 7. Wake up and function then don't go back to sleep until about 5am agian.

On the weekend. It's much the same. Except I sleep until about 2 pm if i can. :) I catch up on all the sleep. :)

I need sleep this weekend cause of debate, Feature writing, and english paper. :( I actually think I am going to bed after I post this. Night for now!

Well my sleep schedule can get VERY whacky really easily. Sometimes I'm up for days at a time. Since I'm on homeschooling, its not so bad, not interfering with classes or anything. But when I do get it on track, I usually go to bed at 11 pm - midnight and wake up at about 9 am.

Mine tends to change as the mood takes me...

Currently, I go to bed ot 0200 and get up anywhere between 0600 and 1100...depending on how much work I have for the day.

Sometimes I do through-nighters...although I'm just about non-functional after the first 40 hours.

Eh. Late at night I go to sleep. Depends on the circumstances. ALmost never before midnight. :D I like to sleep during the day, but the opportunity doesnt always present itself.

I usually get some odd inspiration while I'm on the verge of sleep, so, most of the times, I write late into the night (around two or three). Either that or doing homework, studying, etc.

I wake at 6:15 am, which is when I regret having deprived myself of sleep the night before. I am the furthest thing from a morning person that exists on the planet.

On weekends, I sleep over 15hrs per night--or day, since if I have a choice I become wholly nocturnal.

Weekdays, it depends. Usually I go to bed anywhere between 11 and 4:30 (if it gets past 4:30 I just say 'screw it' and call it an all-nighter), and I always wake up at 5. I can't have caffeine because it gives me migraines... add that to working out, and by Friday I'm trashed. I'm also very good with catnaps...

Okay, maybe I'm lame...I've had the same general sleep schedule since my freshman year of HIGH SCHOOL! (note: I'm almost 25 now so that WAS a while ago).... I'm usually in-bed between 10:30-midnight, and pretty much ALWAYS awake between 6:30-8:30. I *can't* sleep in more than an hour past the sun coming up unless I have very dark shades (and somehow I ALWAYS end up with south/east facing windows). But I'm more of a morning person than a night person (I didn't choose it! It's my genetic biorhythms! ;) ) so it works for me. I get a lot more accomplished if I get started in the morning. But I pretty much always get 6-8 hours of sleep. Lately it's closer to 10, but then, I have a good excuse for that. ;)

My sleep patterns depend on what I have to do.

On the weekends, I may be going to a horse show, so I try to sleep as much as I can (which doesn't happen) and wake up at 5-ish a.m. and go to the show. Last time I went to a show, I had to wrk the night before. I got off at 1 a.m. and went to mom's. Got there about 2.30 a.m. and she tried to wake me up at 5 a.m. Didn't happen. I cannot function on less than about 5 hours of sleep. It doesn't work.

If I'm going to school at the time, I try to go to bed around midnight. I then wake up at 6.30 so I can make my 8 a.m. class. I get home around 5, do homework, take a shower, watch some tv and go to sleep. Then I wake up and do it all again.

If I'm not at school, my sleeping depends on my work schedule. I work most of the time during the week in the afternoon. I sleep until 10 and then gt online and catch up with stuff. On weekends, I don't work until 5, so I can do whatever until then.

When I was going for my drafting degree I was working 3rd shift, and going to class from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. I don't drive due to to a vision problem so I had to take the bus back and forth. I'd get a 3 hour nap in the morning and about 4 hours sleep in the afternoon. Even now 5 years later I can't sleep through the night.

I'm never in bed before midnight and lately I've been staying up till at least 2 or 3 in the morning (it's 3:07am right now). I set my alarm to get up at 8 or 9 but sometimes I stay in bed till noon. It really depends on what I have to do. During school I'm up at 6:30am because I like to take 8am classes. Don't ask me why.

My sleep patten is weird. I go to bed at 2am, get to sleep around 3am. If I get two hours sleep I'm happy, then I go to the bathroom, go back to bed and fall asleep again and so on till 12pm when I get up.

I've being doing that for years. Never more than 2 hours before I wake up often less (my body is a little out with having my kidney removed). I'm used to it but it would be nice to sleep right through.

This sleep patten is probably doing me no good but hey it works! ;)
