Are there times that you feel that you'd actually like to sleep for a few years and just miss out on a while, waking up to a new world, with new things to do, new gadgets to play with and new people to meet?
How long would you want to be 'out' for if at all and how long would you consider 'too long' to sleep?
Just considering Lunzie and figured I'd ask...

I could never do it. There are too many people here in now that I love. The only way I could do it with no regrets is if everyone I knew was lost somehow and I couldn't face the world unless everything else were different too.

I actually slept over 24 hours once. Sometimes, a nice long sleep would be good. Like, maybe, until health care is more advanced, and I don't have to pay for each and every doctor's visit, or at least can claim more than the current amount (about half) back off of medicare. There would be one of my biggest stresses out of the way. And if dental care has also advanced, there'd be another.

Before I had kids I would have said heck yes! Now, I don't think I could unless my kids went to sleep with me.

I wouldn't mind sleeping through the rest of this current presidency is the rest of the family could go with me. Otherwise no...too many landmarks in the kids' life are coming up in the next few years.

Hey, it is still possible in todays world for this sort of thing to happen... This is a quote from BBC's Ouch webpage, Hands-free mobiles became popular the first time I was in the bin. I emerged to find that the City had apparently been swept by an epidemic of schizophrenia.
It is a quote i love to this day, yes the columnist is talking about spending time in a mental hospital. (for the whole article go Here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/ouch/columnists/liz/230703_index.shtml) it is a fabulous read - as are most of the Ouch Columns here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/ouch/columnists/archive.shtml) )

No way! I don't think I'd cope well with the future. I thing things are FAR too complicated as it is!

Heck yeah, I'd sleep for a couple hundred years. Through in some patchy memory loss so I'm not entirely sure who I am when I wake up, and it would be even better! Wait, that sounds like a bad anime? Okay then, never mind.

I'm a summer person, and I'd gladly sleep from about mid-october to just before Christmas, return to bed on twelfth night and wake up in April. I hate, hate, hate the dark fall and winter seasons.

I would have loved to missed out on my highschool years, but i really would have just had to do it again.............with different people. maybe that wouldn't have been so bad.......
