For anyone interested :) We are a mostly-canon (approved under the old rules!) Weyr. All the history happened up until All the Weyrs, where we go alternate in that AIVAS was successfully destroyed by skeptics, and thus thread was not destroyed. Also The Skies of Pern, Dragon's Kin and Dragonblood have not been encorporated.
However, as it's been set 14th pass, it's far enough in the future that basically all that is old history and of no importance to current events! In the 14th Pass, Pern's population has grown, and, thanks to overcrowding, a new Weyr was formed during pass down in the Mountain Ranges far south of Southern Weyr. Going on it's second year of existence, Mountain Song has hardly been a peaceful place. There's been a kidnapping, a knife duel between a bronzerider and a master harper, clutches ranging in size from 20 eggs to 49, unusual threadfalls, conflicts with Lord Holders, and a Southern branch of the much over-crowded Harper Hall opened within the walls of the Weyr proper!
We are a player-friendly (and poster friendly!) Weyr, averaging 800-1500 posts a month under usual circumstances, and encouraging regular posting, while also understanding that Real Life is occasionally as bad tempered as a watch-wher. Still, we're not for those who don't really enjoy reading and writing posts since we do move a little faster than some games.
