Yup! I watch it whenever I remember that its on Mondays and tuesdays AND Wednesdays. I've missed some because for some reason I keep thinking its only Wednesdays :shake:

I love listening to Simon's comments, and wonder when he's gonna try to pull off kissing Paula again :evil:

I've watched 2 episodes so far, I'm not sure if we're behind you guys over here or not, but I didn't know it was on, and don't watch a lot of tv so I forget when stuff I like is on (except Lost, I try to remember about that one! :D ) I watched some of it lastnight and we're up to them having chosen the final 24
I've always liked (ish) Simon, but some of the things he says can be harsh when he doesn't need to be, but that's the way it goes *shrug*

While there are a few I really like, it should come down to Anwar and Nadia if based upon talent - but as this is in many ways a popularity contest it's hard to guess just yet.

Carrie needs to sing country - she's shown that. Whenever she tries to sing anything else, it does not sound good. But - country does not have to equal a slow song. She should try some of the more rockier type songs - like something by the Dixie Chicks. It's upbeat, but still within what we know she can do.

I was happier with Constantine this week too. It's the first time since his audition that he's sounded good.

I think Simon was right about Anwar - like Carrie he's gonna start sounding pretty boring if he keeps singing these slow songs, and songs that aren't fairly well-known. he needs to kick it up a bit.

Nadia and Bo were still their wonderful selves!

I agree, the fans are keeping Anthony on just out of popularity - like they did John (the red head) from last season. That bugs me. :irked: If they can't keep up with the others, singing wise, then they need to go. And he's not been singing well for quite a few weeks now.

Scott did pretty good. He sung Hall & Oats "She's Gone". He wasn't great, but he did as well as the rest of them. :) None of them really stood out this week, but I think that's just a sign of how good they're getting. :ok:

I have to say, this week was the one and only time where I actually really liked Scott's singing, I really love that song.

I was a bit disappointed at first with Carrie's performance, it's hard to describe, it felt kind of strained, like I was aching for her to speed up to the pace of the music. The original song Macarthur Park by Donna Summers, her singing wasn't all that fast but it fit. Carrie just seemed a bit... off. But her last note, that was unbeleivably theatric and ASTOUNDING!!! :applause: :bow:

I think Carrie's problem is that she is a country girl - that's where her strength is and I just don't think disco is her thing. Yup I agree. But I would have switched Anwar with Anthony on the boot. He reminds me far too much of Clay Aiken and I was NEVER fond of him.

I really don't know what's up with the viewers! I'd say that most seem to vote based on one night's performance only - but then Scott is still there. Simon has got to stop insulting Scott - it's getting him a pity vote. I also can't believe that, that many people fell for the "I'm just one of you" speech given by him and his parents. What a load! It couldn't have been more set up. His parents poor little boy speech. "He's had such a rough time of it" "he's an 8 hour kind of guy" "he's a regular person" then they switch to the the "Dance with my Father" song! And I can't beleive everyone fell for it. It was so transparent that he worked the whole thing out with his folks. Grrrr! :irked:

Interesting night. No one was outstanding. I actually think Anthony did the best overall, just cuz neither of his songs was bad. I can't believe they let him and Carrie sing the same song. That Carrie really did such a bad job of it, made Anthony's seem even better. Both Carrie and Vonzell each had one really bad and one good. Bo was...okay, his first song was sort of boring though. It will be interesting to see how the votes go. Carrie is better than Anthony and Vonzell at the least, but she did make a bad song choice and that has killed other singers too.

It was incredibly gutsy! It was a make or break thing to do. He pulled it off and will probably win now. I'm pretty sure Vonzell will go home tonight, but wouldn't be too surprised (disappointed, but not surprised) if it's Carrie. Randy did not pick out a good song for her to sing.

I do too. My mommy saysh that Vonzell will go, then Bo, leaving us with Carrie. Personally, I don't like her much - I like Bo (probably because he hash nice hair and an equally nicer voice). Satisfaction, to me, was perfect for Bo, and Man, I Feel Like A Woman sorta scared me coming from Carrie...

I voted for Bo.... I heard Carrie go out of tune WAYYYYY too much that night and though she's a cute little thing and all she just isn't my type of music. Too bad I can't watch it! It was either record Lost or American Idol... Lost won!

I was very happy with this season. Both finalists were great and I would have been happy with either one!

They both did very well to make it to the finals. I found the show on tuesday rather lacking, but i can understand the pressure would be incredible.

i would definitely buy a cd of Bo's.. but probably not of Carrie. While i think her voice is fantastic, i don't do country *shuddddder* :redfruit:

Ok - so here in Australia they showed the final show and the announcment show last night (Friday - we got both on one night to stop idiots trying to vote, like who would phone america to vote from Australia :roll: )

And that third song that Carrie sang, when she wore the Black Dress - Angels Brought Me Here - that was OUR Australian Idol's song! Our first Australian Idol - Guy Sebastion - his first single... He actually sang it at one of the shows (i think the final) in last season of American Idol (after bombing in World Idol ;) )...

It was truelly bizarre - we are sitting there, me and my housemates, and the host said the name of the song and we were all "Naw, couldnt be, could it?"... And then it was!

Strange, Very Strange... Not that it was a great song in the first place.

Inside Your Heaven is the song they both sing. On the "B" side, Carrie sings, Independence Day and Bo sings, Vehicle. :)
