nope. never have.

Not even action men?

I've played dolls with my sis when we were younger, and she's played lego and various "less feminine" games with me...

Nope. not even action men.

What did you spend your childhood doing...

My favorite past times were Lego and my Hornby model railway...

In fact I still like playing with both!

Me too Simon, although the lego was a cheaper form that we were able to buy and got free with every box of oatmeal

And dinky toys and matchbox cars..... wish I had them still ;) but alas, after I left home my parents grandchildren played them to bits :)

Oh, and never played with dolls or such, actually don't think they sold them for boys in my time...

Well I have to admit, I do have action figures. But for display ONLY I never play with them. I have Spider-Man, Doctor Octopus and Venom. Whenever my friend's younger brother comes over I tackle him if he ever tries do take them out of their pose or try to play with them.

When I was MUCH younger, like around 4 years old, I had a 3 foot tall doll that my cousin thought would be hilarious id she gave it to me. I dragged it around and called her my 'sister' since I was an only child  I even tried to feed her, and cut her hair and was horrified to discover that dolls did *not* grow their hair out. :p

Oh and did I mention this was TOP SECRET info, so I will not permit anyone to divulge this information to anyone outside the premesis of the KT :shhh: If I discover that this request has been broken I will hunt you down

not only have I played with them as a child and a Mom of a child~ but I have been making doll clothes for years~ I have even designed a line of clothes for barbie that is easy for a 2 year old to fully dress the doll! lol~ I designed these wayyyyyyy back when my daughter wanted help with the tops and they only snapped! (pre velcro~ Gasp!) and I didnt have nails to pop the snapps open ~ so I created a new line for Barbie~

so yup,, I still play with dolls~ (mostly to dress them)

Nope. not even action men.
Deprived child. I recieved Barbies but, and Faren doesn't know this, when I was 7 I took one out every couple of days and melted their heads slowly a little more every day. I had the feeling they were watching after a while. I kept a couple so Faren would think my brothers had been melting them!! :D  :fiend:

I never really got into playing with dolls. Lego was much more fun, and my friend's star wars action men.

What's the idea of destroying toys anyway? No new toys for a year for me if I'd broken any on purpose. It's different if you do it as a rite of passage when you quit playing (I just stored mine in boxes in the basement), but if I ever have kids and they destroy their toys, I won't be buying them any new ones.

I did get the urge to destroy things every once in a while, but I built puppets out of branches and moss, and burned them in the sink. My parents weren't exactly happy with that either, when they found out. Although they did give me credit for doing it on a steel surface which couldn't suffer irreparable damage.

Other than my odd beheading rituals I held in my early years (when I was too young to understand the value of things), I never destroyed toys in general, much to costly to waste. But old barbies aren't just any old toy, destroying them purges their evil
