How many stuffed animals do you have?

Are we counting beanie babies? If we are I have about 300 of those blasted things! :faint: However, stuffed bears? I have 3 of those. Funny story. When my son was little he named every stuffed animal he got after himself, so he had a bed full of stuffed "Fred's" :roll: :D . . . until the day his best friend went to the Wash. D.C. zoo and brought each of them back a little stuffed leopard that they both named Leppie. Our son's is so well cuddled and loved that we've decided that he's alive, just like the Velveteen Rabbit! :ok:

Well, the ones that are mine, and not my mom's, I have about 6. A Panther, an elephant, a giant gorilla that's about 2 or 3 feet tall, a dinosaur, an orangutan, and a cat. They were all gifts from family and my art teacher and I don't have the heart to give them away :heartbeat

I had a lot of stuffed animals growing up, but they're all stored away now. I also have a lot of beanie babies packed away from when that craze was happening - quite a few crates full, actually. (Man, I wish I had that money back now. :roll: )

Right now, I have 3 stuffed animals (a bear dressed up like a pilot that I bought the first time I flew on an airplane, a Attic Treasures rabbit and a bunny for winning a contest on BroWolfe's website) and 9 beanie babies (most are TY but 3 are from Hard Rock Cafe, Dragon*Con and Atlanta). :D

I have lots of stuffed animals, but only two that I still sleep with. Yes, I still sleep with stuffed animals even though I'm 18. One is a rabbit that I got at Build-a-Bear two years ago, and the other is a very small, supposed-to-be-pink-but-is-now-grey bear with a rattle inside it from when I was a wee baby.

I have over 100 stuffed animals. They live on top of my wardrobe and bookshelves. A couple live on my bed, though I stopped actually sleeping with a teddy bear when I got my dog 18 months ago (meaning, yes, I still slept with a bear until I was 21) since he sleeps in my bed now, and is like a warm living teddy bear. The bears didn't hog the bed though...

Wow, i have to say i'm shocked. My parents always told me *i* had too many and would get angry when i didn't want to part with them! And i only have 47 (all named, by the way). This doesn't include my beanie babies (of which i have about 10). Most of them now are in boxes at my mom and dads house, waiting for the day when i have more room so i can bring them home. i only have 5 at my condo.

I have about 35. Including my stuffed bear named Drake that I have had ever since 3 months before my dad died. Drake's was the wrecker company my dad worked for and it was the one that gave me the bear when I was in the hospital for getting my foot ran over by a lawn mower.

hmm.. i only have a very small Tenderheart and a medium sized Baby Hugs.. BH is still one of my favourites :D Most of my stuffed animals aren't bears..but other animals..and most of them 'real looking'.. not the typical sort.. even as a kid i was picky :roll:

All mine were passed to my son, except for one or two, and he in turn passed them to his younger brother (along with others he received as a child) so the Monster Child (who also received Dad's stuffed animals) and was gifted far too many upon being born....has 1 net full hanging in his room, 2 shelves of boxes four feet long, 1 18x18 toy box full, and 3 (count em THREE) green garbage bags full in the closet.

Last count about 20. Including a huge 3ft blue Dragon. Of course my favorite is my Grizzy bear cub and my moose. The first is only 3 years younger than me the moose was a prezzie from hubby (this moose is well travelled it has been all over the world with either myself or hubby it even went to the Falkland islands and had it's picture taken in Stanley Of course it will be going with me in December to Kabul.

I have close to 200, but only about 10 beanies. ^_^ The most recent acquisition is a *ahem* black panther cub - honestly, it's not an ordinary housecat! - who I got for Christmas.

And my uncle (who's nearing 40 yrs old) has a huge amount of stuffed monkeys and gorillas. Including one almost as big as he is. It can happily fill an armchair...

My Gran has a more modest amount, but they still occupy most of the chairs and sofas in the house. And there's a turtle on the stairs. (His identical twin brother sits on top of our computer...)

Nobody in my family ever grew up.

We have a ton of stuffed animals. I do have the most, but between me, my older brother, and Mom, we had 7 garbage bags stuffed full when we moved six or seven years ago. Who knows how many we have now! :roll: They all have names, but it may take all three of us to remember some of their names.
Most of the animals are in the spare bedroom and scattered throughout the house. There is a shelf like thing that is about 4 feet by 6 feet and the ceiling slants down. The shelf is packed to the ceiling with animals. I have about 100 in my room at home, but only 4 in my dorm room.
We collect stuffed animals. ;) I'll never get sick of them and grow up either. :good:

a mini dragon which Hans gave me;

a hippo (named Fred);
a tiny dog named Cappucino whom I got in my Christmas stocking last year;
a minature pink rabbit from my Mother;
my teddy bear whom I've had since I was a baby :eek:,
and - wait for it ;) - my fire lizard whom I've *mentally* had for years but who finally got himself a body at DragonCon 2003 :bow: :applause:

:roll: I have enough to cover several king-size beds . . . one or two (dozen) have followed me home from the flea market or thrift stores that looked so forlorn I gave them a home . . . I have no care bears and only three beanie babies . . . lots of bears and dogs but no dragons ( :blush: )
Munchee even has a good collection started (beginning with a 5 foot bear) and about 5 of them are Poohs . . .

You can be any age, male or female, and not be too old for a stuffed animal !

At last COUNT I'd say at least 300. I almost never give any away, and have a very large collection of the original pound puppies ;) This is one of the things I officially "collect." Which does occasionally include pouring through stores looking for the right critter to add to my collection! I only have about 6-7 beanie babies...though I've been collection toys from TY since before they *invented* beanie babies.

It's much cheaper than my LIVE animal collection...which is limited to 6 cats, 2 dogs, and fish!

Well, you probably won't believe the amount of stuffed animals I have. The last time I counted was when I was in 5th or 6th grade. The number was around 355. I am 21 now and this doesn't count my beanie baby collection, which is probably between 100 and 150 or is it more than that? Oh well. I have since then been given more than that. If you don't believe my count I will tell you this. At the time, all my stuffed animals took up one whole side of my twin sized canopy bed. In fact, I had to put a gate against the side of the bed that wasn't against the wall so I wouldn't roll off the bed in the middle of the night. I now have most of my stuffed animals on shelves that my dad put up for me, some in storage and I have about 15 or so on my bed. I even have the same bed I had when I was little.

I'm boring...I only have three plushies. One large black panther, and one tiger and one fox (yes...typically I saw it in Nuremberg and HAD to get it)

I got the Tiger and the Fox in Nuremberg when attending Eurofurence. I was stroking the fox all the way back to the UK...even had it with me on the plane...That probably looked good...lol

I havnt given them names... but I like them a lot....and hope to get more soon. I only discovered how nice it is to have plushies in the past few months :p
