Hi! I made this place today. I have both a weyr, and a general rping forum, where you can role play basically anything you want!

Attalon Weyr was a spur of the moment idea brought on by simple boredom today, and it was up and running about 30 minutes after I got the site! Man am I pooped! Anyway, we are an InvisionFree forum that offers a place for your critter lists, creations, and hathings((both rp and pick a #)) and I'm the only member!

As you didn't ask before using it, please remove the following from the rules of your Weyr--

Punishments~

First time offence~
Probation; the offender will loose his or her ranking characters for a period of time determined by the Admin.

Second time offence~
The offender will loose his or her ranking characters permanently and be put on moderated posting.

Third time offence~
The offender will be banned from this forum for a period of time decided by the Admin.

Fourth time offence~
The offender will be banned permanently from the forum.

I DIDN'T USE YOUR RULES!! *deep breath* I wrote those myself in word, with a few changes as I posted them. I ask that you don't jump to conclusions. I wouldn't use something from another site without asking, everyone should know that I wouldn't do that! Ever!

Yes shadow, quit jumping to conclusions. That is about the 3rd conclusion you BoD of Farnoth have come to that i know of. The reason I know you are just getting mean at Mai, is because she copied those from OUR weyr, and you didnt complain about our rules! QUIT HOLDING A GRUDGE!!

I'm not holding a grudge. However, Maiken is using the exact same list of 'rule breaking punishments' which I wrote for FarNorth Weyr. All I'm asking is that she writes her own, as she did not ask before using it.

Having said that I am NOT getting into this argument apart from just to poke my head in and say...

Attalor is a Weyr out of the ordinary.

We have very few pets, though several will be accepted as we open.

Seablurs are very similar to firelizards, but smaller and more agile in the air, mostly coming in Blue and Green shades.

Tiralers are the runnerbeasts of Attalor, the food for the dragons, and the draft beasts for the humans.

Unknowns of course, are unknown. They are the main carnivore of Attalor, even killing dragons at times. No one has gotten close enough to get a good look, and lived.

As it turns out...Wenereth isn't going anywhere. In fact, Attalon just got a new queenrider transfer, and Awth is looking just a bit more golden than normal. Add the proddiness, and you can come to one conclusion; she's going to rise.

Or is she? Awth has something of a bad temper, so the proddiness could be normal. So how do you explain the glowing hide? And the interest of the males?

What little males we have. We need more, including bronze. Especially bronze! Awth is a small queen, however, so you brownriders have just as much of a chance as any bronze. Or, maybe you prefer one of the elusive sport dragons...

As if a flight weren't enough, this one is to decide the Weyrleadership! Will it be Awth that goes up, slotting her rider, Mirus, as Weyrwoman? She's old enough to have the needed experience, but she's only just arrived at Attalon. It could be that Imallee's Fayith is just keeping herself in check until the last moment. They're only slightly younger than Mirus and Awth, and were also clutched on Attalon sands. We can't discount Melody and Karinth, either; the youngest adult queen, if she were to rise, she would have many turns to lead the weyr.

All of that, however, will be a moot point without a Weyrleader. The choice of males at Attalon is scarce, and queens do like to have a large selection of suitors. Think you've got what it takes to lead Attalon?

Honestly... that flight could have been better. We had three suitors, one of which was my very own character, so he was out of the running right from the start. I ended up throwing the two remaining male names into a cup and drawing out the winner, which was silver Qyuilth.

Let it be said now that, if anyone shows up at Attalon and complains that the BoD/Mods/Admins hold all of the ranking characters, I will beat you upside the head with a brick stick. You had plenty of time to get your Weyrleaders-to-be into that flight, dag nammit! :swear: :irked:

Back to a nicer subject. There will be a clutch from this. The numbers haven't been decided, nor has the color breakdown, though there most likely will not be a queen egg. We have four already, we don't need anymore. If we get a sufficient amount of interest, though, and a whole bunch of candidates, I won't be adverse to having quite a few bronzes, maybe, or even a sport or two.

I'm planning a Gather, and another Unknown attack, and if your characters aren't getting played, they'll be up for grabs by the Unknowns.

I've decided what the Unknowns are like. Think of them as Black, bloodthirst elephants. lol.


Oh! Amaril's Gold Wenereth will rise soon, due to a little time change thing i'm planning at the moment, so we need more bronzes and browns!

In an effort to bring Attalon back, we've had a time jump of 24 sevendays.

Junior queen Wenereth, who's rider is Amaril, is rising. We would love to have new members, and we are in need of ALL Wingleader positions. We've already three queens, but we can have up to 6 more bronzes, and as many as you can play of the other colors!

Wenereth won't have a large clutch, since this is the first time she has risen, but we have high hopes for queen egg!

Attalon is back with a blast, and your character always has the chance of 'bonding' with an Unknown! ((Wierder things have happened, believe me..))

We also are accepting applications for Admin and Moderator positions!

There are also 18 weyrlings from Awth's clutch open for adoption! You name them, write them. The only thing for sure is colors and names. Just PM me!
