This is a rehash of the thread with the very similar name posted on the now defunct AKT.

Basicly just tell everyone here in this thread what type of games you like to play, and what your playing at the moment.... and before you start the "i don't play computer games" response... have you ever played solitaire or minesweeper on your computer ? guess what :evil: they're computer games :devil:

Right i'll start of, i'm currently playing the following games;

Pokemon Leafgreen in my GBAsp
Wario Ware Inc in my Gamecube
and occasionaly i'll switch over to GTA on my GBA if pokemon begins to annoy me :evilgrin:

Normaly i like playing realtime military strategy games, with a healthy mix of resource/government management sims (e.g. total anhialation, C&C: Red Alert, C&C Tiberian Sun, Civilisation 3, Rollercoaster Tycoon etc..)

however i am not averse to party games ;) :D :cool: like super monkey ball or wario ware inc !!!!

Now what about the rest of you !

I used to play transport tycoon a lot too .... then i don't know i stopped playing it all together for some reason .....

.... oh wait that was about the time i started working for the railway :evilgrin: , nope i still play transport tycoon - just not on a pc and i'm getting paid for it now :devil: ;)

on a different note, has anyone else experienced the organised madness that is wario ware inc on the gamecube ????

even the instruction manual is insane !!!!!!

Also been playing for the past few months but have recently stoped (due to lack of friends :cry: ) is Defence of the Ancients, of DoTA for short. Its a mod of the Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne expansion pack. Very good fun, provided enough players play :whee:

I play Diablo and Dungeon Siege. I liked the older Warcraft but not the newest ones. I can't handle a really fast paced game so most of the ones hubby and the boys like just aren't for me. I also like a lot of the card games. Not very exciting stuff I'm afraid. :)

Hubby has just finished Prince of Persia : Warrior Within.

Brat senior(15)-something called Quake on X-box, which apparently requires confinement to bedroom with his mates for hours, possibly days, it's hard to tell. Appearances are only to stock up on pizza etc.and mutterings of "it's too cold to be outside"
Brat junior thinks computer games are "tragic" and prefers re-runs of Buffy and Charmed on Sky- yes, she is 12, going on 21. Also likes to have mates round, but is more talkative than older sibling.

I am rather addicted to text twist too, I like a lot of the yahoo games, but Text twist is whta I always go back to, and now that I've downloaded it my parents are addicted as well! :roll: Unfortunately this is Dad's laptop and it's pretty cranky so not a chance of playing any fast games on here, not that I play a lot, I used to play Settlers quite a bit, I really like that one, and was it Super Mario Party or something? Like a board game - if I had a gameboy I'd play pokemon all the time too. I also wouldn't mind getting Harry Potter for the xbox or PS2 because we have both - but the boys normally have reign of that thing :D :roll:

We have Age of Empires II (with expansion) and Age of Mythology. (right now neither are installed, we take them off so the computer runs faster when we're temporarily sick of them) I've been playing Jedi Outcast on my brothers Laptop, but that went back to college with him. I also enjoy "return of the king" at my friends house.

Runescape I play from time to time. Also with the cardgames. I am a minesweeper grand champion!!! (beginner: 3, Intermediate: 33, Expert: 110)

K I am currently playing Shadow Hearts 2 Covenant :D VERY addictive game lol and even I can play it easily hehe which is good since the kids won't play it for me lol
