In Anne's many worlds...what are the ESKAY, and what series are they from?

I can't quite remember AnnMarie, but I /think/ it's the ship series, specifically the book with Tia in it, can't remember which title it was called! Am pretty sure they were an ancient civilisation that had travelled to/lived on many planets and her parents were doing an archeological dig to try and find some traces of them being there... I think it's coming back to me now LOL
Hope that helps :D

That's right. It's from The Ship Who Searched. Tia and her brawn are trying to find the Eskay homeworld at the end and have a pretty good clue. Too bad there's no sequal.

It's a good thing I didn't post the other day. ;) I was thinking it was one of the bird species from the Dinosaur Planet books.

They were an ancient people that the space archaeologists were researching... They were discovered by two, with names starting S and K... the Eskay culture.

The Hrrubans are a race of cat people who inhabit a planet the humans originally thought was uninhabited, or more precisely, both races decided to inhabit the same planet at the same time - they're good books, why haven't you read them hmmm?? ;)

Soloman (spelled wrong) Kildair Entities aka SK alias Eskay

Ship Who Searched is my favorite of the Ship series by the way.

Solomon-Kildaire, named for the two archaeologists who discovered them.
