First seeing the light of day at July 20, 2004-- the Creature Forum was created by a couple of people from Anne McCaffrey's Kitchen Table site.
The intention was to provide a place for people to roleplay the imaginary bonds and creatures they aquired at the KT, and the characters or alter egos those creatures were bonded to. Here creatures and characters from numerous worlds, including Anne McCaffrey's Pern, met and interacted-- most often for the occation of a creature Hatching, but sometimes also gathering for other reasons.
But let's get on to some of the things that the Creature Forum might offer you, shall we?
* Relaxed roleplay where you have the opportunity to start your own threads.
* Where you may play original characters from published worlds, or from worlds of your own creation.
* Active, and certainly imaginative players.
* The opportunity to encounter a wide variety of original races, as well as to create your own.
* The opportunity to be given creature bonds and companions for your characters through RP.
* We also have a Weyr set in a alternate version of Pern, if you prefer an RP with more set rules and guidelines for characters.
