So, you're a brain (that body of yours is mangled beyond belief quite frankly) and you're all set for your permanent shell... When to your delight, you spot a vacancy for just such a being as yourself... On what kind of station would that dream job be?

An agricultural plant? A medical Centre? A city in space? A stop off point for travellors?

What would you imagine yourself managing if you weren't out there flying your rockets off like Helva et al...?

A deep space station right on the edge of civilised space! Propably one of those shady ones! :evil:

I think a stopping-off point for travelers would be interesting, especially someplace important and high-traffic. Lots of variety and chances to meet people!

What Anareth said. A station like Simeon's would be fun, although preferably without any attackers.

I think I would enjoy a station where a lot of people pass through on diplomatic missions, or where people come back to be debriefed.. Kind of vicariously living their adventures

A city out on the frontier. Nothing like living on the edge of a galaxy for living on the edge. Come visit the casinos! Place your bets. Ladies night on Tuesdays. Gentlemen's night on Thursdays. Try out zero-G swimming bubbles.

I'd like to be a research station. Hearing stories from across the galaxy, but doing something of benefit to people.

Something remote and infrequently trafficked . . . or a medical facility with a large insane asylem. Inpatient #1 right here, baby!

Seriously, though. Something right on the edge, kind of dingy, and infrequently visited by important people.

A station dedicated to trade and commerce with plenty of amenities for all sorts of people, from the lowest spacer to the highest merchant prince. I'd have a grand bazaar where you could find anything from all over the known galaxy. A place halfway to the frontier, but well within civilized space.

A medium-sized city-station on the frontier. (I'd get some cool medical stuff too, if it had a hospital--I'd like that, although I'd get tired of having to deal with it 24/7.)

I'd like to be on a stopping point for many different routes... you'd get a wide variety of people coming and going, so you'd certainly never get bored.

As to location... well, as long as it's not out in the "boonies" I'd be happy. :ok:

I'd like to be a place where many travellers come through, but not on the edge of the galaxy. I wouldn't want to deal with "the Clan", no thank you. But if I couldn't move, I would want to hear about everyone else's adventures. And of course I would have a....hmmm....how do I say it? A section of the space city or planet that would be for leisure pursuits of ALL kinds.
