The one I mentioned is a John Wayne film from the 1960's. It just seemed like dialogue you'd hear in a John Wayne film.

LOL Danae, I just realised I've only just seen ads for this movie coming out in the theatres, I don't think it's actually been released yet!! There's no way any movie that new will be in my movie quotes as I'm only putting quotes to movies I've seen, and I go to few movies at the theatre! I normally see most newer movies as they come out on DVD though :heartbeat I love my DVD shop!

I don't /think/ that I 'misquoted' it Space, though I did get it from a website. It is Tommy trying to copy his Father's way of saying it which I can't remember properly, which he mucks up royally! Something along the lines of " You can get a good look at a steak by sticking your head up a bull's ass, but wouldn't you rather take the butcher's word for it?"

This is sort of off the subject. You know "The Rock's" character in Walking Tall? (of course you all do) My dad gave me my first name after his daughter. I know nothing about either of the movies, nor do I about the book, but my Dad admired the actual sheriff so much he named me after his daughter. (so my first name is Twana. ick. Not sure if that's how the sheriff spelled his daughter's own name, but that's how my dad spelled mine. BTW, my friends and family only know me by my middle name.)

And sorry, i don't know any of the quotes. But perhaps I should edd-i-cate myself about my namesakes dad.
