I decided to start a Television quotes and trivia thread simular to Jax's Movie Quotes. I will post several quotes and trivia from Television shows and ya'll try to guess what shows they are from. Now one word of warning, all of my quotes and trivia will be coming from T.V. programs out here in the U.S. because after all, I have never seen any other shows. The same rules that are in Jax's threads apply here, only answer ONE quote or trivia question at a time, if after a couple of days or the next time you log in there are still quotes or trivia questions that have not been answered, you may answer another if you know it. Now, hhheeerrreeee wwweeeee ggooooooo.

McGyver, in addition to duct tape, always carried a swiss army knife.

1) um, Hawkeye, Hotlips, Padre, and Klinger?
2) Jamie Farr?
4) I'd say Glenn Campbell, but I'm not sure
5) James Garner
6) Daffy Duck

Point of interest - I just remembered that Rene Auberjonois (Odo from DS9) was the original Padre in the film of M.A.S.H.

You know my momma loves me
There's just one thing she can't understand
They keep showing my hands
And not my face on TV"

9. IIRC, Dick York was the original, replaced by Dick Sargeant for health reasons.

Oh, PS and demonstrating my extreme B5 geekdom, it's spelled "Lennier."

Correct

And thanks, I couldn't remember how it was spelled so I spelled it the way it sounded like my english teachers always told me. (guess that's why I didn't do so good in english huh?)

7: What kind of motorcycle did Garibaldi and Laneer build in Garibaldi's quarters?

A Kawasaki Ninja ZX 11. Garibaldi was first annoyed with Lennier for getting it to work without him (using a non-polluting energy source), but later repented and they went on a ride along the station's central corridor.

Obviously, I am not the only total B5 geek. (That or SOMEONE has that episode on DVD.)

I wish! Just checked The A-Z guide to Babylon 5 by David Bassom. :redfruit: It's my all-time fave sci-fi show, though. The only one that comes even close is Stargate.

Cooter is the mechanic in town on the Dukes Of Hazzard. He was always fixing up the General Lee for Bo and Duke Luke.

The actor that playey Cooter ran for Congress and won. I can't remember if he is still in office.
