I used to live in a country town, and in one of the houses where I lived, if you went out on the upstairs back porch, you could see sheep in the paddocks, that's about as close as I lived to a farm LOL :D

Oh the deficiencies of language! In mine we don't have a distinction between orchard and farm. A dairy farm is a "melkboerdery" and an apple orchard would be either an "appelplaas" or an "appelboerdery" depending on how formal you're feeling. :roll:
