I recently finished "Haunted Ground" by Erin Hart. Its a mystery, that takes place in modern Ireland, involving archeologists who are called in when "old" remains are found in a peat bog. It gives a good picture of Ireland, site investigation and a good mystery. If you are looking for something a bit different, I do recommend it. (I had trouble putting it down, in fact :D )
