Heh. I have to write three (or four?) extraordinarily difficult essays, write three English tests, finish a state studies course, write a French translation test, put together a portfolio, and study for and take the SAT... all in the next month :)

Just judged a poetry contest for Highschool students. ONe was so great. Compared teachers to Mafia hit persons All about writing a paper and the requirements ended with the teacher announcing it would be presented orally in one day. Loved it. And I'm an ex-teacher. All teachers are also always students for their certification. I wish it would win. There were five judges.

*chuckles* Hey... I teach college English! Freshman Composition anyway (it pays for Graduate school what can I say!) Though this is my last semester. So I'm in the process of "grading" several 5-7 page essays, and the revisions of previous essays (they were all allowed to revise one completely).

I'm pretty much done with it now...but can I just say 70 page papers are evil!

I just got done with my projects. I had a 25 minute presentation on substance use/abuse in adolescence, a three page paper on how advertisements affect adolescents and makes them want to buy their products, and a 10 minute speech on adult illiteracy

I would give anything to have to write a 750 word essay. I could get that thing done in like an hour. Last semester was my big project and paper semester. In English I had to write two three page papers, two 5 page papers, an 8-10 page paper and give a speech, and in my Creative Process class I had to write about 6, eight page papers and my final exam was a 10-15 page paper and a presentation.

I was really lucky this semester. The projects I just got done with were basically my only projects for this semester. Of course this fall is going to be a big paper semester again 'cause I'm taking Research methods in Biology. :roll:
