My poem.

[Lady of the weyr]

The Lord-
The Lord is kind, loving and true- he'll always be with you.
You can't run or hide.

Lose your pride.

Lord, I love you and can trust in you.

Trust in you to help me through all the things in life-
through thick and thin,
the dark within,
through all the pain and strife.

You know, He's not only there for you in the bad times,
but in the good times too- he'll even laugh with you.

He's good and true-
he'll never leave you.

All you need to do is ask him to come to you and he will do.

So what do you say?
Is it yay or nay?

I think it's very sweet, and very honest. It's the sort of thing I'd expect to hear at a church service. I don't write about my religious feelings because I keep them pretty much inside, but you sound like you have found a strong faith, and I applaud that!
