Dolphins of Pern

My Weyr is starting a Dolphin pod..any tips or info that could be useful?

As long as it relates to pern, it doesn't really matter if this is meant for RP or not, we can still discuss what happens within Pernese dolphineering. I'd be interested in learning more anyway :good:

Dolphins Impress like Dragons, but its not as rapturous. Dolphins will often look to one person for the rest of their life (I believe). The person should not have a dragon.

Dolphins will go to that Undersea.. whirly thingamabob to prove themselves.

I'm not an expert, but I'm making a Dolphin Hall for my Weyr. ^^;

The way I see it Dolphins bond to a partner more than Impress............Impression would be more from birth and I would assume that they would stay with their mothers till weaned.....
We have a Dolphin Hall at Paradise. The way it works IMO is that the Dolphins are trained alongside their possible prospective partners, and in the process discover one who they will work well with....

You also have to have a Tillek - a kind of Dolphin Buddha. See DoP for more. :good:
