Right at the end of Treaty Planet/ Treaty at Doona the Gringg receive a message from their homeworld saying another sentient spacefaring race was looking to meet peacefully, and their home planet gave them the coordinates of Rraladoon because it has so much experience with these things!! :D
I wonder what sort of aliens they are, where they're from, and wish Anne had written more about them... :heartbeat

I've been wondering about this new race...ever since I first read the book!
I'd like to think that they are not too 'animal' like as it would seem very strange if every other race found some how resembles an Earth animal!

I would like to think that all three race's have evolved such a trust, that some thing very different would give them a challenge to meet and that this would strengthen the bonds between all races including the newest member of 'The Club'!
How about some sort of chemical method of communication, or some type of unusual method of talking so that it would take everyones skills to make a break through and this way we could be allowed in to the Grinng way of life alittle more!

I've noticed that dang near all of Anne's "good aliens" are furry critters. I think she needs to branch out a bit. Maybe make an alien race that physically they are the ugliest and most horrifying thing to look at yet they are so peaceful you go Huh?
