Texas Gather, anyone?

Alright. I have never been to a Gather. At all. So I was wondering if there were any Texas gathers. Or, if not, would anyone be willing to put in the effort of having one? I don't have the slightest clue as to how to do it, so I am petitioning those of you who do (you have to be willing to hold in this state) for some help. Us Texans get kinda lonely down here!

Now, I for one, know of two people in my town who actually read AMC. We are also the only one's I know of who have HEARD of AMC. These two people are me and my dad.

Hmm, never been to a gather meself. I"m in Texas, though my hubby's never read Anne, so I doubt he'd understand the gather business. At least I know of someone else in texas. It's a good idea....must find out.....
