I will be honest, and I think you wanted honesty. I dont like them. I really dont. I dont think the first one is very good, and the second one.. well... It's just not my style. :blush:

Yes C'milo I want honesty. I never was very good at drawing and believe it or not, those are actually some of my best work :rofl:

I am far better at writing than I am at drawing. Those drawings are actually ideas I had for possible covers for my sci-fi novel I am trying to complete. I think with a decent artist they would come out very nice.

To be honest, these are not the best drawings that I have seen, but there not the worst, either.(That's reserved for my drawings. ;))

Ooh! They are very nice! I like the detail you put into her wings--are you drawing these as a temporary cover for your writing? I know I've done that before!

Hm... Well, really the small criticisms I can hand you (if you're looking for any), are only that her face seems a little too small for her body, (if you make it larger, not only is she a little better proportioned, but you have more space to put detail into her face. I know I tend to sketch people's faces too small, and I've had to slowly force myself to make them bigger.). Also, she does seem a bit wide about the hips, but I'm not sure if that's intentional or not--it is rather frustrating having people tell you that your character is too "fat" when that's what you intended. XP So, take that as you will.

Overall, she's very lovely. It would be cool to see a little more detail in her swimmingsuit-like outfit (like a celtic design? or even some bordering?) and maybe a picture that included her feet. (ZOMG I'm so guilty of that. At least your pictures are finished, colored, and with a title, most of the time I don't even get that far! XD)

What type of markers did you use in the second picture?
