My mom got me a digital camera for Christmas :D so I took LOTS of pictures. I'll post some of my favorites. :)
The first one is the sunset that same Christmas. The second is the crystal hanging in my grandparents' kitchen window; it only catches the sun at the right angle to make rainbows for a short time each year. :D

Woohoo!!! It's ACTUALLY letting me post them! YAY!!!! :D
The first is a picture of my spoiled little cat, Aussy. Whenever I walk up to him, he rolls over and expects me to scratch his tummy; I swear he thinks he's a dog  . The second is another picture of the same crystal taken later.

This first one I took using the annual staff's camera. I take pictures at all the varsity football games for the yearbook. This one is one of the coolest  . The second one was just some cool clouds with the sun shining thru. :)

Congrats on the new digital! They're tons of fun. Here's something you might want to try....the next time you're shooting pics of sunshine through clouds, try taking your sunglasses and holding it in front of your lens. I do this all the time and it works great. It even adds a pretty cool touch to foggy morning pics. It works best if the lenses of the sun glasses is an amber or tobacco color. Or you can always go to your local camera supply store and purchase a set of Conklin filters. They work great too! I'll try later to get a pic up from vacation last year where I used this method.

True!!!!!! :D *rolls on floor laughing*
I named him Oscelot, we just call him Aussy for short. He looked SO much like an oscelot when my grandparents got him for me; he had the BIGGEST eyes you ever saw on a cat. He was the runt of his litter and that's why my grandparents picked him for me, they know I have a soft spot for runts :heartbeat . If you think he's cute, you should see him with a possum's entrails hanging out of his mouth  . He's a killer I tell you! A killer! He's really nice to people though :D ; he's only ever scratched twice and both times he was TERRIFIED. He is a scaredy cat, fleeing even from the neighbor's guinnies (sp?). Whenever a stray cat comes up into the yard, he hides under the chairs on the porch but as soon as I walk out and shoo the stray away, Aussy goes charging after them and then stops at the edge of the woods as if to say, "Yeah, you better run!". He's a little egomaniac  .

Ooh, I didn't think of that. Great idea! I did that with my glasses and took a picture of a Christmas tree (to show the world what I see with 20/200 vision  ), but I never thought of using sunglasses; I have GOT to try that next time. Thanx :D .

New Pictures!!! :woohoo: These are from the night before the homecoming game, when all the seniors come to spraypaint the streets around the school and hang signs in the hall. Just to be different, I did mine in Japanese  . The silver is "Holly" (my name) and the gold is "dragon" (I couldn't help myself  ).
