During Dragon*Con I am at the Ohio Renaissance Festival face painting, this is near Ceasers Creek on 73 off of 71 close to Cinci and not too far from Columbus... and a nice hike from Cleveland!

Linkie> (www.renfestival.com) Here's the site.. It's 17$ a person to get in... plus food drinks and shopping and tips for the shows you love!! If you buy your advance tickets from Kroger it's cheeper by a little bit~

Identify your self to me (Im Nurianna the gypsy facepainter) by your KT name, and you get one free face painting! your choice!!

I've met up with a couple of KT'ers off and on over the years and having a gather there would be cool~ you can wear your favorite Pern dress/leathers and fit right in!! I'm working from open to close 10-6pm but we can gather for dinner at a near by resturant afters if the day doesnt give us enough time to visit properly ~ It runs for 9 weekends so if Dragon*Con weekend is too busy we can do this anytime!! I know we have at least 5 peeps in Ohio and a few within a good road trip's distance~ This is a rain or shine show.. and if it's raining I'm not working very well! (pray for sunshine.... pray for rain!)

Hope this works!!

It WOULD be cheaper for me to fly to Ohio for a large Gather than it would for me to go all the way to D*C.

30-45 mins from dayton.. and to all who are looking at flying in... if you destinate to Dayton International Arpt it is cheeper than going to Columbus's, now Cinci's arpt, might be available cheeper(?).. but I've been told that it's listed as Florence KY! dont ask me, this just seems to be the way it is..

Travel time from each of these airports is about the same, cause of where they are situated in relation to the Faire~

this could be good and Nurianna and I would love to meet up with any who can make it to the Festival!

Hi!

I'm from Ohio. Bellefontaine, to be exact. It's about an hour north of Dayton. I'd love to do an Ohio Gather, but unfortunately, my resources are non-existant at present. Things are getting rough, and I'll be moving soon (as soon as I find a place and money to do so).

I would urge anyone who can to go meet Nurianna! You'll be happy you did, trust me. :D As for the face painting, I only do camouflage... ;)

Y'all have fun & take care,
Mikey

GLEEP!!!! :hugs: and more :hugs:!! where have you been?! I understand hiding out doing the life thing.. but I know the library there is in excellent form, and you should be able to join us, more often then once in a double blue moon! :hugs: Miss you! Please keep watching this, if we do end up with a Gather at the faire or after hours near the faire It would be soo  to have you there too~

:D

I've been trying to get on every other day, but don't always post. Things are very hectic around here and I'm trying to figure out how to deal with my financial problems. Being poor is something I'm used to, but being flat broke is another matter entirely... :(

I'm not entirely sure what I'll be doing soon, or where I'll be doing it. But one thing is for sure - I'm moving! I'm actually happy to be leaving the house (It's never been a Home) I live in now, but it would help if I knew where I was going to move to... ;)

Anyway, I'll be around. You're right, the Logan County Library is top notch! So I'll see ya 'round.

Take care all,
Mikey
