My fave is the dragon as well... but I love the kitty!!!

Thanks. I did the Cat and the Dragon last week but the mask I did about 3 months ago.

I need to get some of my GCSE Art work up, I really like some of the pics I did. :)

This is a drawing that I started a couple of years ago and finished just recently. It's of a Goldfish called Kraken who when I started drawing was alive but passed into the great goldfish bowl in the sky shortly after I began. This fish would pose for me! He was sliver/dark grey and very bright!

It is accurate, I don't think it was female (we always called him a he) and he was a fantail which is why he was that shape ;)

Yikes, been a long time since I posted in here!

Ok, so Ian put Poser 5 on my comp the other day (after a little begging from me ;) ) and well I got a lot of freebies for it from various sites mentioned in other threads.

The first picture is my very first render (well a proper one anyway). The lighting and pose aren't right but I guess I did okay for a beginner. The figure is DAZ's Aiko and the outfit is Eldritch's Aiko Djinni with textures by Vashti. The background is from a DAZ freebie called Genie Bottle.

The second render is with some little touches here and there. The sarong has been moved to stop it from showing through the leg at a couple of points, the ponytail moved and shadows are now showing. Ian helped me too with the bits I didn't know how to do. ;)

Ok so I was playing around with Poser and this kinda came together...

It's Aiko 3 in the Barracuda outfit, texture from the A3Barracudastylez pack. The sword is from the DAZ Angel of Light pack, jewellery is from the Freja outfit by Eldritch and the Moda fashion pack from DAZ freebies. The Background is a Garden Corner, a freebie from DAZ. The sandels are from the Djinni outfit with textures by Arien.

Ok so this would have been my second entry in the art comp had the compie not decided to break down :roll:

The figure is Vicky 3 wearing BVH's Vamparella outfit with black satin texture applied. The sword was a freebie (I think from the DAZ sword pack). The windowed background is another freebie (can't remember whose off-hand) and the Wings are the Mythic Wings from RDNA.

May still tweak a little as I'm still not sure about the shadows.

Its looking good. :) I'd probably just move the right arm a bit to get rid of the sharpness of the elbow bend. The picture looks a bit fuzzy but I am assuming that's something to do with the site (or my eyes)?
I love BVH's freestuff - mind you I must admit my favourite is his swat outfit.

I think I will move that arm the bend is rather sharp but then I was using a preset pose. Also I'm going to render it to a larger size and play with the shadows i.e. only have one light casting shadows (from the left I think). Not sure why it looks a bit fuzzy.

BVH's stuff is great, Ian has some of his paid for stuff, and you can't get better for the price.

I think that has improved it :) Have you tried angling her a bit so she doesn't look full on. Not that I am criticising in any way - but I often find I spent hours tweaking the poses and lighting etc and then I normally come back to what I first liked :)

Ok I'm getting more adventerous with Poser :D TWO figures in one scene ;)

The figures in question are both Aiko one with the Ice Mage outfit & textures from DAZ and the other with a freebie from Renderosity called Sara (i think) which I found while finding the Naga texture. Hair on the mage is a freebie from Pixiegirl with some free textures I got somewhere and the harpy hair is the Nyoko hair from DAZ. The background is the Enivoment from DAZ. Minor postwork done in Photoshop.

Okay something new for halloween. All of the clothes, table and crystal ball are from Faerie Dreams and are all freebies as is the texture that the clothes have which is by Valerian70. Morphs and skin texture on Aiko are by VOLT.

Okay another (that won't be commented on but hey ho) picture for you. This one is Aiko with the Kirei na Kanjou texture, Allura hair and the DAZ enviroment but the dress was made by ME! I got Hexagon 2.1 (modelling program) recently (DAZ sale $1.99 :D ) and this was my first project. :) It turned out quite well so I tried it out in Poser. (I'm using 6 these days btw) I just pulled a satin texture from my materials list (from RDNA by Traveller I think) and popped it on, did the whole dynamic thing and I got....

The setting up of the picture didn't take that long really, maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of a hour. Making the dress took about 6 to 8 hours and that is just a simple dress, it was my first go as well, so I made lots of mistakes and that took some time but I plan to have a go at something a little more complex in the next week.

Most outfits that are sold take weeks in planning, making and sorting issues with, as far as I can gather. Figures can take months.

Just a fun image I came up with using V4 wearing the MFD with one of the Camlot textures. Her hair is the Amasada Hair in tied back morph. The Mil Dragon is in Hatching Morph with a texture that came with it, the eyes are done with a texture called glitter (I think) from RDNA. The background is the Enviroment. (all from DAZ unless otherwise mentioned)
