new Acorna book

Has anyone seen the cover of the new book???? It shows someone with short hair that's TWO different colors!!!!!!! :confused: What gives????????????? And the horn is almost straight up from her head. I thought the horn went at an angle!!!!!!!! :confused: :confused:

Honestly, how many book covers actually coincide with the images you have in your head after reading? Cover artists are not known for actually knowing what the book is about. There's a web site, I'm sure someone can provide a link (Hans?) with cover art for all of Anne's books. This can hardly be the worst one!

I went to take a look at the cover, and considering the storyline, that's Acorna's daughter. Their equivalent of a teenager. Teenagers have this odd tendancy to dye hair odd colors and cut it in various styles, there's no reason this will change in the future. They may not be entirely human and such a thing might be unheard of among the Linyaari, but Acorna's family would be heavily influenvced by their human friends.

The horn, maybe it's a problem and maybe there are individual differences among them for horn placement, angles, etc, as humans have different sized, shaped and placed ears, noses, etc.
