Ok, let's start with the setting for this RP, shall we?
Everything starts at Earth, maybe not exactly our Earth, but similar enough that it doesn't really matter. It's early in the year 2005, and things are progressing much like they are here-- with the good stuff as well as the bad. Then something happens which definitely sets the timeline of this Earth apart from the timeline of ours.
Out of the blue, a group consisting of twenty-one individuals appear out of the blue in the middle of a vineyard in southern France. Some of these appear to be human at least, but others are most certainly not.
Obviously quite confused about their sudden displacement in time and space, the individuals are no less surprised than those who witnessed their arrival.
And while some go more or less willingly when a mixed team of the local police and people sent by the government arrive to take them into custody, others choose to flee and hide instead.
Among the twenty-one, there are humans from other times at this Earth, as well as humans from alternative Earths or planets from very different universes. Then there are others-- extraterrestrials of many shapes and beings from worlds very different from our own. Some may even appear to be dragons, rocs or other beings out of mythology...
What they all have in common though-- is that they all have certain talents that may be used to help the people of Earth. So the question may be whether they will become heroes which humankind very much need, whether they will hide or whether they will use their talents to further their own agendas.
