Diffrent Sides

OOC: Erm..theres some languge in here...only a few words and mostly at the beginning.

Council Room-Weyrwomans Weyr

"what do you mean I can't stand?" Aza demanded, swinging her p[latinum hair behind her, her voice tightly controlled.
"Aza, as long as you are pregnant, I can't risk you impressing!" Sarie said, her voice cold.
"Damn you Sarie, Weyrwoman of Igen Weyr. Damn you and your queen Elarth." Aza spit, turning on her heel to board the bronze on the ledge.

~What is wrong Aza?~ Lenth, the bronze asked.
~Elath is is..an idiot.
Lenth, from Elath's first clutch of two turns ago, his eyes whirled red as he spoke again.
~She is kind to let you stand at all.~ Were his words as he landed on his ledge and as Aza ran into A'ners arms in defeat and passion.

Month later-Empty bedroom-Caverns

Aza screamed, thte sound reverberating through the Weyr.
"There now lovie, it's okay." Lola, the old auntie siad.
"Can't you shush her for a MOMENT!" Sarie cried.
"Sarie!" Lola snapped.
"What?"
"You of all people know what!"

[FLASHBACK] A young girl. Blonde hair spread out on a bed fur as she screams. A baby girl is cradled in another girls arms. A faint voice remarks,
"She's bleeding too much and still contracting...[/ENDFLASHBACK]

Sarie blinks, then remarks coldly as she leaves, "Shut her up."

Hatching Grounds-Hours later
The queen creeled in hunger and pain.
~What is wrong?~
~Her's is not here.~Elath's tone was wistful.
~Then bring everyone else in!~

Elath did so, but, alas, the queen still did not choose.
~Hers is STILL not here!~

The young creen stumbled out of the Hatching Grounds, followed by a green, both creeling in hunger.
~Aza/Ala, feed your Talath/Poarth!~

Who was Ala? Much worse? Was the Queen Talath? Or Poarth? Who knew?

Weyr bowl-That evening
~Ala, feed Poath.~
~Aza, feed Talath.~

Aza was very tired of Talath, as Ala was of Poarth. Ala, however, was never seen. Whoever she was, Poarth and Talath, whoever THEY were, were doing fine.
Who they were confounded everyone.

Weyrling FUN-1yr

~Talath, listen to me!~
~But Azamine..~
~Talath!~ Aza's voice was sharp. Her dragon queen, ro green, was very, very stubborn. Personally, rumor had Aza'z Talath as gren, but she thought, 'queen.'
~Talath!~ She snapped, for the queen was walking off with that green.
~What?~ Talath asked innocently.
~Go to sleep, not walk off.~

Talath's amusement was evident as she walked off to lay down in some shade.

Meeting-Council Room-Same day
L'ar frowned at his mate.
"You mean there is NOTHING in the records?" He asked.
"Nothing L'ar. Nothing! Not even with whers." Sarie said, her voice breaking. "I just don't want the queen to break out of her rider's control in flight!"
"They won't let that happen Sarie, you know how stubborn they arre, thanks to you-, well, their parent's genes.

Sarie chuckled and nodded as she turned her attention to the Weyrligns by the lake.

Weyr Bowl-1yr later

"DO NOT EAT!" Two voice roared simeltanously. The queen hissed in fury as the two twins approached her. She blooded the second, then fought to eat the third. The fourth she did not argue, glowing golden, before taking off...

Flight

Aza was arubtly Talath. The queens and bronzes mounting desire was apprent to Aza-Talath, who swooped up in the air, creeling in glee. She swooped down in a spiral dive, pulling out before hitting the Weyr's lake. A bronze went down too far, hititng the water.

Talath bugled in harmony to the bronzes calls. However as she dove into a thermal, she was swept up, tangled, with Lenth.

Bowl-During flight

~How come you never said?~ Ala asked.
~I did, I said Aza.~ Paerth said.
~I'm Ala, not Aza~~ She cried as the mix-up became apperent.

Council Room-Next day

"Where are you two from." Sarie said arubtly.

"Isat Weyr..Nerat Hold." Ala and Aza said simeltaniously.
"Do you know why?"
"No." Was their single voiced anwser.
"Your father was B'ane, former WEyrleader. I am your mother."

The two looked at each other, astonished.

"Your great auntie, Alia, was a HAD. In essence, that's why your dragon's were confused, bacause of your ability, your looks, and you similar names." Sarie sighed. "I gave birth to you both the night after I impressed Elarth. I have told no one of this yet, but Elarth will not rise again. I passed the Weyrleadership onto you, Aza, and your A'ner."

"Why?" Ala asked.

"I wanted someone who was strong. STubborn too. Aza fit the bill."

A small chuckle filled the room as La'r came in, limping.

"Weyrwoman Aza. Wingrider Ala. Sarie." He said simply. "A'ner awaits us at Ista for the meeting."

Nodding at her mate, L'ar and Sarie left the two sisters sitting in the Weyr.

"I'll go down and see how everyone's getting along, if you don't mind, Weyrwoman." Ala said.
"Go ahead rider." Aza said, thinking about the revelations as they went between to Ista.

Ista Weyr-Council Room-Same day

"Thus Sarie and L'ar former Weyrleaders of Igen Weyr, now step down. A welcome to the new Weyrleaders, A'ner and bronze Lenth, and Aza and gold Talath." B'ner raised his cup of Benden. "To L'ar and Sarie."

Aza rose, and motioned to be able to speak, after a gglace at th eothers, he nodded.

"I have known both of you for awhile now. I know, that you two are some of the best riders in Pern, and we are sorry to lose you. May your flights be full odf happiness, may your wings be strong, and may your dragons never falter."

The cheer was taken up by everyone. B'ner dismissed with the final warning,
"We shall meet again when Thread falls in our skies!"

And thus began the 8th pass of pern.
