I am submitting a photo of a green dragon hatching from it's egg.

I have the dragon, I have the egg, and the box it's set up in to make it seem like the hatching grounds.

I want the egg to be speckled blue & green. I dunno how to do this howeever.

Nenwen already said to dilute the paint, then sprinkle it over the bag...but, alas, paint is expensive, a bit too much for me.

Any help?

I don't quite understand what you mean, but when I was doing some speckled work, I would dip my paintbrush into the paint and then flick the paintbrush with my finger towards the thing I'm wanting to paint - I really liked how it turned out too...

Spatter painting - use an old toothbrush and a piece of stiff wire mesh - a piece of window screen is good. Dip the toothbrush in the paint and scrape the bristles across the screen, and the paint will disperse below in tiny speckles.

Well, I don't know about where you are Perny, but I get most of my paints from a cheapo shop, like a $2 shop? I'm not sure what the equivalent for or you over there, but I get them for $2 or $3 a bottle, and they usually last a while, depending on what I'm painting.

You can try watercolors. Dilute the colors you want and flick the brush. Or try Brenda's technique...

I assure you, the toothbrush-and-window-screen method will thoroughly disperse the paint! (Better not have anything you don't want spattered in the same area - best to do it outside!)

Would do it if I could get the paint(which I can't, I'm broke) and if I had the screen.(which I don't.)

Ack, this is dissapointing,

Like Jax, I don't know where you're at, but here in the U.S. you can usually go to "Family Dollar", "Dollar General", or some other dollar store where most of the merch. is priced a dollar. They usually have model paints for fairly cheap.
