This is a Pern, Inuyasha fic. It takes place in the 4th Interval/5th Pass.
Inuyasha and the gang all try to go through the well and Sesshomaru follows. The over load of people causes them to be dumped on Pern instead of Kagome's time. Kagome is dog-hanyou like Inuyasha now. No-one knows why she was going to find out when she got back to her time.
If you don't know what Inuyasha is read all this
If you have never read any Inuyasha manga or watched the show you are probably wonder who Inuyasha and Sesshomaru and Kagome are. And what is this about a well? Inuyasha is a Japanese anime show or manga. The well is the Bone-eaters well. Kagome and Inuyasha are able to travel through time to feudal Japan 500 years in the past and present day using this well. The gang includes Kagome but there is also Miroku Sango Shippo and Kirara. Sesshomaru is Inuyasha's older half-brother who is full dog demon.
Inuyasha is half-dog-demon.
Shippo and Kirara are full-demon. Shippo is kitsune(fox) while Kirara is a two tailed neko(cat).
Kagome Sango and Miroku are human.
Sesshomaru has two companions Rin who is human and Jaken who is a toad imp.
I kinda feel like that was a total waste of space but maybe it won't be.

L’ran sat on brown Larneth, as he dipped and dove through the skies. He hated sweep riding; he never found anything and never would. Thread was gone so what use was it. Like anything strange would happen around now life was just dull, just plain dull.
The only thing good or interesting he had out of life at the moment was Larneth. But, just to be free of the Weyr and out in the skies was good enough for him he supposed.
He’d heard tales of Thread and dragons flying through the skies killing the mindless menace, and how dangerous it was. No one believed Thread would come back and no one wanted it to come back. He however thought it would be a fun and exciting change to the life he had in the Weyr.
At the moment he was away in his mind when something caught his eye. He shot his gaze to one spot in the sky just in time to see some sort of black vortex close up in the sky.
“You see that?” He asked his dragon.
See what? Larneth asked.
“Obviously not.” L’ran sighed. “Come on over there.” L’ran pointed.
It seemed like forever before they reached the spot he had pointed to. Of course, it didn’t help that L’ran was already bored out of his mind.
As they hovered in the spot where the vortex had been L’ran spotted something very strange on the ground. There were five people, a small feline with two tails, and 3 children, if you could call the green thing a kid.

Kagome held the complete Shikon no Tama in her hand. She turned her gaze from the well and looked at Inuyasha. She walked over to him and he gave her a questioning look.
Kagome took Inuyasha’s hand in hers and dropped the tama in his hand. She curled his fingers around it, and then dropped her hands to her sides. “It’s yours.” She said.
“I don’t want it.” Inuyasha shoved the tama back at her.
Kagome’s eyebrow twitched and she anime fell. When she stood back up she looked confused. “Why? I told you a long time ago that when it was complete again you could have it.”
“I don’t want it any more.” He crossed his arms over his chest.
“I thought you wanted to become full demon.” Kagome looked back down at the tama.
“I learned I’m much stronger and under control in this form than any other. And you said you liked me better this way.”
Kagome opened her mouth to say something but found there was nothing she could say and blushed.
“If you’re done blushing maybe we could figure out what to do with the jewel,” Inuyasha said.
“I’ve got an idea!” Sango spoke. She ran up and took the tama from Kagome’s hand. “Miroku and I will hold the tama and Miroku will hold Shippo and Kirara. I’ll hold onto the back of Inuyasha’s kimono and we’ll go with you.” Sango indicated Kagome.
“You’d do that?” Kagome asked.
“Of course. With Naraku died” Miroku smiled then instantly frowned. “taking Kohaku with him, there is no real reason to stay here.”
“What about Kaede?”
“She’s to old to travel much especially through time.” Sango frowned. “I’m sure she’d understand.”
“Alright.” Kagome said hesitantly. “If we’re gonna go then lets go!”
Sango and Miroku clasped hands holding the tama. Miroku grabbed Shippo and Kirara. Inuyasha picked up Kagome and jumped into the well, soon after he felt a hand clasp his kimono.
Sesshomaru stood hidden in the brush. Rin stood silently behind him, as did Jaken.
He heard the whole conversation and when everyone jumped into the well Sesshomaru scooped Rin into his arm and told Jaken to follow quickly. He ran to the well and jumped in shortly after Miroku.
“Where are we going Lord Sesshomaru,” Rin asked.
“To follow my brother,” He looked at the girl.
Inuyasha was waiting for them to hit the bottom of the well but it seemed to be taking much longer than he remembered. Just when he was about say that they’d gotten their selves stuck between times, they were dumped onto the ground from the air.
He stood up and looked around, there was nothing in sight but nature. “Where the hell are we?” he yelled.
Everyone looked around but didn’t go far. Shippo was apparently the only one who heard a hard thump as something hit the ground behind them, he turned and saw, of all things, Sesshomaru. “Hey Inuyasha! Sesshomaru followed us!.”
“What are you talking about kid he couldn’t-” Inuyasha stopped as he gazed at his half-brother brushing the dust off of himself. “Sesshomaru what are you doing here?”
“Followed you, I didn’t expect to fall out of the sky when I got here.” Sesshomaru looked around. “Where are we anyway?”
“I was just asking that question!” Inuyasha growled.
Kagome’s Inu ears twitched and she flexed her now clawed hand in front of her face. “I really wish I knew why this happened.” She said suddenly.
“I’m pretty sure we all do.” Inuyasha snorted.
Sesshomaru turned and looked at her. “Why are you hanyou?”
“Weren’t you listening? I said I wish I knew why this happened!” She stressed.
“Alright so she’s a hanyou now! Nobody knows where we are?” Inuyasha looked around at everyone and no one gave a positive sign. “Kagome this place doesn’t look familiar to you? Where are we?” Inuyasha ranted on.
“ I think you’ve said the questin enough Inuyasha, but where ever we are we’d better figure…” Kagome trailed off looking up and going wide-eyed.
Everyone followed her gaze and gasped. Inuyasha pulled out Tetsusaiga and asked, “Who are you and where are we?”
Hover above them in the air was a brown winged creature with a man perched upon it’s neck. The man appeared to be just as dazzled as them.
“Name’s L’ran and this is my dragon Larneth.” The man stated a confused look completely taking over his face. “And you near Ista Weyr.”
“Ista what?” Kagome said.
“Ista Weyr.” L’ran said. Larneth call in one of the closer riders.
“Mmhmm. What’s a Weyr?” Kagome asked.
“Where the dragons and riders live and I suppose I may as well tell you that a Hold is where no riders live, common folk.”
“Okay so where are Holds and Weyrs?” Sango said cautiously.
“On the Northern Continent.” L’ran raised an eyebrow.
“Alright, and where’s that?” Miroku said.
“On Pern, of course!”
“Ooooooh.” Kagome smiled. “What’s Pern?”
L’ran almost choked at her question. “The… planet Pern.”
“So I take it we’re not in Japan any more?” Inuyasha said still holding Tetsusaiga at ready. Sesshomaru had also pulled out Tokijin holding it up slightly.
“Where?” It was L’ran’s turn to asked a question.
“Japan.” Inuyasha snorted “We are no longer on Earth?”
“Okay Japan on Earth never heard of it, but nope. You’re on Pern.”
“Ya I get the point.” Inuyasha was becoming agitated.
Just then another winged creature came into sight only this one was blue. “What is it L’ran?” the man on it neck shouted and L’ran pointed down. Instictivly the man looked down, not knowing what to expect. “What are they? Where’d they come from?”
“I don’t know they say they came from Japan on Earth, but I think we’d better take them back to the Weyr for questioning.” L’ran looked down after the other man had nodded. “So H’mon how do we get them there?”
“We can try getting them to come calmly at first if not we’ll have to try something else.”
“Alright we’re taking you to Ista Weyr, you can put your weapons away and came with out a fight or we’ll take you by force.”
“No way!” Inuyasha snapped and was about to continue when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to stare straight into Kagome’s eyes.
“Inuyasha,” She whispered “I think we should just go without a fight. They don’t seem to want to hurt us.”
“But-” He began.
“Please we don’t have to fight.”
Inuyasha sighed in defeat and resheathed Tetsusagia. He glanced at Sesshomaru motioning for him to put away Tokijin. “We don’t have to ride on your-” Inuyasha waved his hand at the creatures.
“Dragons,” H’mon stated.
“We don’t have to ride on your dragons do we?”
“I supposed not just follow us to the Weyr.” L’ran hoped this would stay easy.

Inuyasha, Kagome, Sango, Miroku and Sesshomaru had been taken straight to Ista Weyr, where they were promptly taken to an elderly man and woman, who were the Weyrleader and Weyrwoman. They now sat in a row in front of both the Weyrleader and Weyrwoman.
“Now first of all…” The Weyrwoman walked up to Inuyasha and Kagome. “Your ears are they real?” She first tweaked Inuyasha’s, much to his displeasure, then Kagome’s.
“Yes they’re real!” Kagome said.
“What are you?” The Weyrleader asked.
“We are both dog hanyou!” Kagome signaled herself and Inuyasha. “Just to let you now he,” She pointed to Sesshomaru, “is full dog youkai. And he,” She pointed out Jaken, “is an imp.”
“What are hanyou and youkai?” The Weyrwoman asked.
“Hanyou are half-human and half-youkai, and youkai are demon.” Kagome explained. “Oh yes! Shippo is fox youkai and Kirara is a two-tailed neko youkai. The rest are human.”
“We must get you new clothing right away!” The Weyrwoman looked over all of them.
“What’s wrong with our cloths?” Inuyasha spoke for the first time since they had been brought to the Weyr.
“Well with your ears you two will stick out enough as it is!”
“I don’t need any other cloths these are just fine!”
“Now Inuyasha be reasonable.” Kagome said sweetly.
“Be reasonable about what? Our cloths are fine! Your kimono and mine and everyone else’s!”
“Well, Inuyasha, we are obviously not getting back to Japan so we may as well get used to these people’s customs and that includes wearing the same type of clothes.
~*~
Inuyasha grumbled as he rejoined the group in his new, strange attire. He glared at Kagome as if it was the worst thing she had ever made him do.
“It can’t be that bad Inuyasha. Are they really that uncomfortable?” Kagome looked at him.
“No, they’re comfortable, but they’re not as comfortable as my kimono.”
“Good they’re comfortable, besides you look good.” Kagome smiled cheerfully.
Miroku and Inuyasha wore similar clothing. Miroku wore a white shirt with an embroidered collar that was cut down across the chest but held together with an x-ed string, and a pair of slightly, loose fitting grayish pants.
Inuyasha wore a white shirt with embroidered shoulders with a high cut collar than Miroku’s, and a pair of kaki colored pants.
Kagome wore a short, black dress with embroidered sleeves and bottom. She wore grayish pants underneath the dress and a belt at her waist.
Sango wore a long, white dress with a navy blue vest with an embroidered collar and bottom.
Sesshomaru had been even less reasonable than Inuyasha but finally said he would shortly after Inuyasha gave in, and now wore a green shirt with a cut down the chest and an embroidered collar and kaki colored pants.
Shippo and Jaken both wore blue shirt with a white collar and blue pants. Rin wore a white dress with a tan vest with gold on the sides.
“Now that we have you all changed and we’ve asked almost all the questions lets get to the last.” The Weyrwoman commented.
“Feh” Was Inuyasha only response as the rest said ‘sure’ and ‘okay’.
“Names? I am Weyrwoman Siana and this is Weyrleader B’rol. You might or might not already know L’ran and H’mon.” She indicated the other three as she spoke their names.
“I am Sango, this is Miroku, Kagome, Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, Rin, Jaken, Shippo and Kirara.”
“I think we know all we need too know. You will be provided with quarters and will live in the Weyr. You’ll will begin to live the lives of Weyrfolk and possibly one day become dragonriders.” Siana the turned and walked away.

“Inuyasha! Inuyasha!” Kagome called in a panicked voice as she approached him.
“What is it Kagome?” He asked turning from his work.
“Do you know where Headwoman Curina is? It’s the Weyrwoman! She just got a whole lot worst! We fear she might succumb to the illness!”
“I’m sorry I don’t, but I’m just glad that there’s a clutch on the grounds with a queen egg! If she does succumb the Impresser of the gold will be the new Weyrwoman. Aren’t you a candidate?”
“Yes! As are you?” Inuyasha nodded, then Kagome shock her head. “This is no time to be speaking of the clutch or who is to stand to try to Impress. Sesshomaru and Miroku are going to be candidates, too, but right now I need to find the Headwoman!” With that Kagome turned and scurried away her long, baggy shirt flowing out slightly behind her.
Kagome’s ear swiveled every which way. She sniffed the air randomly but found not fresh scent of Curina. She spotted Sesshomaru and ran over to him. “Sesshomaru, do know where the Headwoman has gone?”
“I believe she went to Ista Hold quickly she should be back any moment. Why?”
“Weyrwoman Siana as you know has been very ill and has gotten worse-” Kagome cut off. “Curina is here!”
Kagome jumped off at high speed, stopping at he ledge. “Curina the Weyrwoman!”
Curina looked up at Kagome and took off toward the Weyrwoman’s quarters, yelling orders at the dragonrider who had escorted her as she kept a steady pace. Kagome help the rider take care of Curina’s things, not wanting to get in the way.
About a half-hour later Siana’s queen gave a high-pitched, ear-splitting keen. Everyone knew what that meant even before Curina exited Siana’s quarter’s her face pale, her energy drained.
Luckily the hatching would happen soon so they wouldn’t go to long without a Weyrwoman. Only a sevenday at the most.
~*~
Siana’s queen was now gone. As soon as the eggs began to wobble and the dragons began to hum, she’d lifted her weary mass into the air and flown out of the ground going between forever.
The candidates now stood on the grounds in their white robe watching as the eggs wobbled fiercely. Kagome stood next to the queen egg, every now and then glancing anxiously at Inuyasha and her other friends. Inuyasha Miroku and Sesshomaru stood next to each other glancing over all the eggs they had so many times wondered among and touched. Sango stood on the sidelines next to L’ran and H’mon, who had over the months become friends with all of them.
Though a hatching was supposed to be a happy moment everyone felt a great sadness of the recent loss of the Weyrwoman.
All the sudden a bronze and a brown surged forward out of the shards of the now broken shell. They both headed in completely different directions. Kagome watched as the brown headed toward her friends.
The little brown tripped over itself a few times before stopping to stare straight at Miroku, who didn’t budge. Inuyasha gave him a good shove and he collapsed on his knees cradling the browns head and yelling. “He says is name is Ominith!”
An experienced rider, leaving the rest of the dragons to choose their partners, then escorted Miroku out of the grounds. Miroku pasted Sango as a green cracked it shell and stumbled out. The green started running toward the crowd and when Miroku saw the look on Sango’s face, as the green grew ever closer he pushed her toward it, know of green/female Impressions.
Sango did almost the exact same thing as Miroku only yelling, “Her name is Slaith!” Then following Miroku off the grounds.
Back on the grounds the queen egg had begun to wobble Kagome was trying to keep an eye on both the golden egg and Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. Kagome looked at the queen egg for a while then looked back at Inuyasha just in time to see him caress a bronzes neck and yell, “His name is Demonth!”
Kagome smiled and turned back to the queen egg as the shell cracked almost right down the middle. The queen waddled around the whole circle stopping in front of Kagome. “Her name is Jaminth!”
I’m hungry! Can I go eat? The gold pleaded.
“Of course, dear heart!” Kagome replied leading the queen from the hatching grounds.
Kagome found her friends rejoicing of the new Impression. Sango still seemed a bit shocked but she was happy. They had already fed their dragons what they had and looked to be waiting for more.
Inuyasha ran up and swung her around. “Kagome! You Impressed!”
Kagome shock her head vigorously and looked down at Jaminth as she protested again. “Can I feed Jaminth, please?”
Inuyasha apologized and grabbed one of the bowls of meat that had been brought to the group and handed it to her.
Sesshomaru showed up minutes later with a blue waddling at his side and a smile on his face. Inuyasha handed him a bowl of meat as he finished feeding Demonth.
“All right before we go back to the weyrling brackets what are everyone’s dragon’s names. I’m pretty sure you all heard mine but in case it was to loud his name is Ominith.” Miroku smiled.
“Slaith!” Sango cheerful let out.
“Demonth!” Inuyasha proudly put in.
“Jaminth!” Kagome set her bowl n the ground and caressed the dragon’s neck.
“Nenth!” Sesshomaru’s smile grew even wider.

Heads turned as the small group walked into the weyrling brackets, chatting happily. Their faces were laced with grins as they walked with their newly hatched dragon, now fed and oiled.
One boy leaned over to the boy next to him and asked, tiredly “How can they be so full of energy? I’m so tired. I think everyone, except them, is tired.”
“Where have you been hiding in a cave? Those are most of the people that say they came from Earth. One of them there, the one with the long white hair and pointy ears, is full youkai, which is demon, and the other with long white hair is hanyou, which is half-human, half-youkai. Youkai and hanyou have a lot more energy than normal humans. I heard another one from their group, also a hanyou only black haired, is now Weyrwoman to Jaminth.” The other responded then opened his mouth to say more but before he could someone yelled out.
“She is!” It was actually both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru.
The boy who had responded slapped his forehead. “Hanyou and youkai also have very good senses including better sight, smell and hearing.” He groaned out. “You heard?”
Inuyasha chuckled. “You were doing a fine job explaining. If you’re still wondering why these two have so much energy even though they’re only humans, it’s because we all used to fight evil youkai, so did Kagome, she’s the Weyrwoman now.” Inuyasha smiled and sat down next to the sleeping Demonth. “I suggest you rest like the others. You are neither hanyou nor youkai and I highly doubt you used to fight evil youkai.”
“Why do we have to do this? This is a womans job!” Inuyasha complained.
“Ya know if Kagome were here you’d be sporting a new 5 foot deep hole!” Sango glared at him.
Inuyasha tugged at the charm around his neck. “Stupid beads! Sometimes I think she just keeps this thing around my neck for fun! She has no reason not to trust me not to mention she’s now, no matter how much I hate it, a pretty much worthy opponent for me being hanyou.” Inuyasha glanced at the chuckling Sesshomaru.
“Hey, don’t look at me for support! I’ll do it if I have, too.” He held his hands out in front of him.
“Keh!” Inuyasha grumbled. “Making clothing, casting cookware, collecting medicinal herbs, tending to Weyr flocks and cleaning latrines. Men would never do this stuff in feudal Japan.”
“Ya well Inuyasha face the facts you’re not in Japan any more. You were so mellow until now. Now you won’t stop complaining.” Miroku responded.
“We’ll be able to have our own weyrs soon and we’ll all be a team hopefully we can make an excepion and have four instead of three and we’ll take the drills off the ground.” Sango smiled. “Then we can go between. Kagome’s been training too but she has duties as Weyrwoman and I haven’t really seen her.”
They all missed their friend especially Inuyasha. They were beginning to think they’d never see her again.
Finally! Weyrling Training was all over! No more lectures, no more flipping firestone bags around, just no more.
Inuyasha was so happy he had his own Weyr and it was close to his brother and friends and even close to the Weyrwoman’s apartments where Kagome was
The dragons from the same hatching as Jaminth were now pretty much fully matured. Kagome slipped to the drills and everything to practice flying and going between but a Weyrwoman had so many duties it was hard to keep up and she barely had any time to go to training but it was over now.

“You mustn’t let her eat only blood!” Miroku tensed every word. “And don’t let her go between!”
Kagome was dazed something was nagging at the back of her mind yet she couldn’t quiet figure out what Miroku was talking about. She listened in on all the dragons but she wasn’t getting anything, just excitement and anticipation, especially from the bronzes. She tried to bespeak, what she was sure was, every dragon in the Weyr and still got nothing. “What in all of Pern are you talking about?!”
“The bronzes are blooding their kills!” Then it hit Kagome head on and she didn’t even need to hear Miroku’s next words. “When Jaminth wakes, she rises to mate!”
Just then Jaminth woke; Kagome stared at her sitting in the spot where she had been sunning herself. Everything stood still, the bronzes staring at the gleaming queen, stretching her legs and wings quiet sensually, their eyes swirling orange.
The Jaminth let her temper fly. She propelled herself into the air with amazing agility and strength. She headed straight for the feeing grounds.
Miroku lifted Kagome to Ominith back and they flew after Jaminith. Miroku and Kagome dropped down onto the ground as Jaminth pounced on her fist fat buck.
“Remember don’t let her-” Miroku whispered in her ear.
“I know, I know, I know!”
Don’t take flesh, Jamith! Don’t! Kagome screamed at her.
Jaminth shot her head up and looked at Kagome. She roared her protest and turned back to the buck.
Blood it! You hear me? Blood it! Don’t eat it! Kagome screamed mentally, again. Jaminth snarled once more before she tore at the throat and sucked the buck dry of blood.
Blood it! Jaminth! Kagome told the queen keep a steady and stern voice. Jaminth blooded her third and fourth kill. She then hopped onto a slightly small beast.
Don’t you dare take any flesh, Jaminth! Hear me! Listen to me! Don’t you dare! Jaminth once again blooded her killed and flung it away with the others. Then she surged aloft with one push of her strong hindquarters.
All the bronzes followed in the blink of an eye. They all went straight up, towards the gleaming gold.
Jaminth climbed higher and higher until I was almost impossible to go up anymore. She dipped and dived taunting her lovers.
None of them would catch her. None of them had her agility, her strength, or her size. She wouldn’t be caught that easily.
As 2 of the bronzes, she recognized as Ploith and Greneth took the lead and grew closer she folded her wings and dropped. All the bronzes followed and she suddenly opened her wings and was back up to her earlier altitude. All the bronzes struggled to catch up and gain lost time. Two almost collided, as one of the pair dropped off.
She was about to look back at the bronzes that were still following her when strong talons gripped her shoulders. She flipped around to face him only to have a strong neck twine with hers.
How had he gotten there? How had he managed to get so close with out her noticing? Surly he hadn’t been following the whole time and waited so long? But, if she thought about it, it hadn’t been very long.
Very tactful, following her until she had absolutely no clue nor had any time to evade. She abandoned all restraint as they fell.
Kagome was now lying in the arms of the winning bronzes rider. Her eyes were closed, her body demanding the same glorious pleasure her dragon was feeling.
“Now? Kagome, now?” He was saying, “Damn it, Kagome!” He was tentatively trying to penetrate her body.
Kagome gripped the man tightly, trying not to dig her claws into his back. The hurt was immediately forgotten in the flood of desire and lust that rose from within her.
“Kaagoomeeee!”
The cry was so impromptu, but the tone held so much raw emotion. Her heart sank, it couldn’t be Inuyasha, he would never allow so much emotion to be expressed even if his dragon was involved. Not to mention he didn’t love her. She had so hoped that Demonth would catch Jaminth, but alas it couldn’t be him. Inuyasha’s only love was dead; he’d place his heart and trust in the hands of Kikyo.
If only Kikyo had… Kagome didn’t even finish the thought before she pushed it to the far regions of her minds. It had to be someone she knew, because they obviously loved her as much as she loved Inuyasha, and for them to love her that much they really had to know her. Only who would it be, someone she had associated with often, someone that was a good friend. Maybe she could guess before she opened her eyes.
Being Weywoman she associated with many people often. A good friend? There was M’ton, he was a pretty good friend, but no he was just a friend. G’tril, he was a good rider but not so much a friend, he was friendly and all but-
Something tickled her neck breaking her thoughts. She brushed at it but never came in contact with it. She tried to return to her guessing game but something tickled her neck again. She brushed at it and tapped something lightly before it zipped aside. This happened about three more times each time she tapped the object but could never figure out what it was.
“Will you stop that?” said a muffled but familiar voice.
Finally Kagome decided to open her eyes. Right away she saw long silvery white hair streaming down the man’s back. His hair was still wet and they both smelled mostly of sweat.
“Inuyasha?” Her soft voice held surprise as well as delight. She realized it had been his ears tickling her neck, just then.
He began to move off of her but she held him tightly in place. “Hmm.” He mumbled response.
Then it hit Kagome as she breathed in Inuyasha’s scent. How could Kagome have been so stupid? She had been so wrapped up in her thoughts that she hadn’t thought of just sifting his scent out.
“Inuyasha? My name… how you said my name. Why’d you-” Inuyasha had brought himself up on his elbows. His cheeks turned a bight pinkish color as he listened to her question.
His ears twitch and he smiled as their golden eyes met. He ran a clawed finger down her cheek. He kissed her soundly before saying. “I love you.”
“But you loved Kik-”
“Yes I loved Kikyo, but I would be stupid to think that I could ever be with her not to mention I love you. All I really ever wanted to do was put Kikyo to rest. I knew she wasn’t the same Kikyo and never would be. I’ve been waiting for you along time. At first I thought you didn’t love me and I was also scared to let another have my heart and trust, for the fear that I might end up like did with Kikyo. I waited for you back I Japan after Kikyo was dead and here for almost 2 year and I decided I’d done enough waiting you would be mine and I wouldn’t let anyone else have you. That, is that!” Before she could say anything at all he kissed her again.
Her eyes widened as she stared up at him. “Really?”
Inuyasha chuckled. “Now come on do you honestly think I would joke about that?”
Kagome shook her head and decided to play with his ears. Only, before she her hand reached them Inuyasha scolded her.
“Hey, you can’t do that anymore!” Inuyasha quickly reached and caressed Kagome’s ears. She practically melted underneath him. “You know, you haven’t tweaked my ears since you were last human.”
Kagome laughed as he stopped rubbing her ears and made that statement. “You’re right, but still… my turn!” Before he could protest again her hand were fondling his ears.
She smiled as he sighed blissfully. She craned her neck and placed a light kiss on his ear whispering. “Inuyasha, I love you with all of my heart.”

Good Morning, Demonth! Kagome smiled at the bronze as she passed him. Inuyasha, still asleep?
Good morning to you, too. Yes he is still asleep.
Kagome chuckled and, as Demonth bowed so his head was right next to her she scratched his eye ridges. I’ve got to go to Jaminth now, but I’ll be back.
Demonth glance fondly toward the queens weyr and trailed after Kagome as she made her way toward it. I’ll let you know when Inuyasha wakes.
Thank you, Demonth that would be great! Kagome walked to Jaminth wedge shaped head. Are you hungry, Jaminth?
Very can we go eat!
Kagome laughed at her eagerness but before she knew they were gliding toward the feeding grounds.
The queen ate fitfully, having only blooded four yesterday.
Kagome saw a blue soaring in the sky. Hello! She waved at the blue.
Hello, Kagome. The dragon responded.
Out so early. Are you coming to eat, Nenth?
Sesshomaru says ‘Yes, we’re going to land’.
They came spiraling down and Kagome caught sit of Rin as well as heard her giggling in delight. Ever since Nenth and Sesshomaru could fly he’d taken her all across Pern, she suspected, and the girl just loved it. Rin was now 13 almost 14. As Kagome thought back it had taken them 4 years to beat Naraku and when they came here Rin’d been 10.
Kagome had little miko power left but she’d learned a spell that she had put on Miroku and Sango. The spell made them age just like hanyou and youkai; also it made them live as long. The spell would pass through their descendent and that generation would live as long as the same generation of Kagome’s, being the spell caster and being hanyou, descendents.
She’d have to ask Sesshomaru if he wanted her to place that spell on Rin and when, if ever.
When Nenth landed Sesshomaru smiled at Kagome, “Have you told anyone that you can talk to all dragons?”
Kagome gave him a confused look then realized her grave mistake. She shuddered, “Opps. No! Did you just figure it out?”
“Well, I was listening to Nenth. ‘Hello, Kagome.’ I could pass that off, but when he said ‘Sesshomaru says yes we are going to land’ and you had said nothing out loud, what else could it have been? You’d better tell my brother soon I don’t want to see his reaction if he figures it out on his own or if you hide it from him to long.” Sesshomaru jumped off Nenth’s back and Rin slide down into his arms.
“Neither do I.” Kagome looked back over at the feeding Jaminth. So far the queen had had three giant bucks. Nenth politely waited for the queen to finish before he began to eat. “I’ll see you later Sesshomaru! Bye, Rin.”
Demonth is Inuyasha still asleep?
Still asleep.
Kagome sighed then laughed, “And he always said he didn’t need much sleep!”
As Kagome headed towards the Lower Caverns she ran into Sango, “Oh, I haven’t seen you in so long how are you and Miroku how’s he?”
Sango laughed at her, “We’re fine. The main question is how are you and Weyrleader Inuyasha?”
Kagome blushed as she realized that most everyone in the Weyr had learned, over the past 2 years, the feelings the couple harbored for each other, “He’s still sleeping.”
“Well, all that talk about how we were weak and he didn’t need as much sleep as us!”
“That’s what I said!”
Both girls shared a good laugh before going their separate ways. Kagome went back up to her quarters and found the yellow backpack she’d stored away. She found her pictures from random time in feudal Japan or even in the future on Earth.
She looked through so many pictures, memories flowing back. She’d almost forgot she had these. The pictures were always fun to look at.
Kagome examined every detail of the pictures. They way they used to dress. Kagome wondered if Sango still had her kimono and fighting suit. Or if Miroku still had his monk robes. She didn’t know if Inuyasha had kept his fire rat haori, his kimono, and hakama.
When she found a picture of Sesshomaru and Rin, taken a little while after Naraku was defeated, she wondered how the sudden disappearance of the Lord of the Western Lands had affected feudal Japan. It couldn’t have been bad, she hoped, Myoga and Totosai probably figured something out.
Kagome let the thoughts flutter from her mind as she examined a picture of Inuyasha and her and Shippo. Then it hit her Inuyasha still had his beads of subjugation on now.
She walked over to the bed and sat down next to him. ‘He looks so peaceful in his sleep,’ she thought. His face had no expression on it, just blank.
She placed a hand on his chest before clasping both hands around the beads. She chanted a short spell Keade had taught her and let go of the beads smiling with satifaction.
“Now that that’s finished,” She said and went back to looking at her pictures.
