Bookchat - pick a series

Well after this morning's efforts we are on a roll. So the question is what do we want to do next. I have been asked to see about a series besides Pern. So if you are interested in Bookchat on one of the other series please do vote and we will see what we can do.

I was torn between Freedom and Powers That Be. What helped me make my decision is that I have a couple of the Freedom books that I've not read yet, but have on hand. Maybe that'll get me moving (though rereading one of the other series wouldn't be a bad idea either)

That was really tough to choose Shazza!! I was torn between Freedom and Crystal Singer! Wish i could vote more than once but then it wouldn't really be an accurate pole now would it? I :bow: to your wisdom! So hard to choose though. So easy to get completely lost in either world and wish that I could be there!!!

Serrin I am quite happy to make a list according to most voted for to least. Then we can just work out way through the series. Like that idea?

Drat. I voted for Crystal Singer, but am being beaten out by Freedom. Good series, I just don't know it as well and don't own any of those books.

Maeve, you have until the 11th. You could start a Crystal Singer campaign. Same goes for the rest of you. Personally I prefer Freedom to Crystal Singer but I am happy to host whichever series you guys want. Now, once we pick a series are we going to chat the WHOLE series or pick just one book. If only the one book them perhaps we should list that book in our replies so I don't have to run a second poll. Looking at first week in Feb for our next Bookchat.

I voted Crystal Singer, only to realize after I did so that I won't be able to join the chat, as my computer doesn't support Java. So I can't get into the chatroom :sigh: and my husband doesn't want to have Java on his computer for some reason :irked: .

Well guys you have two more days to vote. Crystal Singer is looking like choice though. The next question is do we just want say the first book or chat the whole series? Or is that taking too large a bite?
