I'm going to 'attempt' to draw several characters from Lord of the Rings. I'm not the best at people, but hey, all you can do is try!!!

So here's my first one... Arwen.

And here's the second! This one's Galadriel if you can't tell... not as happy with this one, but oh well. It's GREAT for me as people aren't really my strongest subject, like I've said before! ;) :D

I LOVE photography (as some of you can probably tell by now ;) ) and I figure I'll never know if I CAN be good at drawing people if I don't do it... so I picked a favorite group and just started drawing! :D

Wow. they're great. I couldn't draw to save my life, so these are awesome compared to anything I could do. I really liked the second one.

And thank you! It's kindof weird, actually... I'm happier with Arwen then I am with Galadriel for reasons based off of my own perfect-art driven mind. In other words, I'm a prefectionist when it comes to my art. :roll:

Out of curiousity, WHY do y'all like Galdriel better? Jax already gave her reasons... how about anyone else?

Ya know... I noticed that, too. The only thing I don't really like about the Galadriel drawing is her face is too wide and her eyes are a bit too far apart.

But that's ALL. LOL

Arwen's nose just seems a little off, and her left eye looks odd. Everything else is great!

Well, I bet you would be okay with it. But if I had my grandpa's job I wouldn't have much money. Except, my grandpa usually looks at photographs when he's drawing people.

I also like the Galadriel one better than Arwen. Arwen looks a bit too asymmetric to me. I haven't drawn people in ages either.

I was looking at a picture, too. There's NO WAY I could draw those without one!

I really love the one of Galadriel. Arwen is very good as well.
