Maybe. I'm not sure I'd be suited to working on a ship, but doing what Channa does might not be a bad life (barring invasions, etc.)

I fI could I suppose I'd be inclined to perhaps try out for the fun and adventure, prestige and so on that goes along with the role, but being realistic, I cannot see myself as being physically or mentally stable enough to Brawn. However, i could probably do reasonably well on perhaps a Hospital City or some such?

Yes, if the ships are fast enough so that I wouldn't have to spend more than two or three months in space at a time at most.

Yes. It would be good to be able to help brains in ways they can't do for themselves (eg maintain ship/ station etc). And being a brawn for a ship would give you the opportunity to see places that others wouldn't. But I'd love to work on a research staion.
